I’ve been taking this powder, from this company, for about a month now. I was diagnosed with PCOS probably 20 years ago. I’ve included pictures of the warning labels on the box, which are not included on the product listing. This review is being written in December 2022, the expiration date on the box that I received is June 2024. They also sell the supplement in a jar, that I have to measure out, I appreciate being able to now get it in an individual packet, that I can travel with, when needed. I do not take this as frequently as recommended, because I have noticed that I do feel nauseated in the morning the day after I take it. I do have other medication’s that can cause nausea, but that was pretty much under control until I started taking this. The big reason I have continued to take this, is because I have noticed that I do not feel nearly so irritable with the people in my household. My mood has been better. It also reduces the sugar cravings that I typically feel in the evenings. There is a warning that it can cause a B12 deficiency, my doctors office actually put me on a B12 supplement over a year ago, and had reduced it when I went in this year for an annual exam, so seeing this warning label, reminds me that I need to make sure I am taking enough. The box states that the supplement is produced in Canada. I cannot verify how it will affect the menstrual cycle, because I have been on birth control for the last four years to manage my hormones. I have also been taking metformin for a really long time. I will probably keep taking this continually, just because I feel so much better on the day that I take it, and because of that reduction in food cravings. It hasn’t removed all of the food cravings, but it has decreased enough that I am finally able to drop a pound or two. With PCOS weight loss is extremely difficult. I will also continue to take one serving every other day, because the price is really high and I can only be nauseous so many mornings in a week. One last thing, it looks like powdered sugar, taste is sweet like sugar, and dissolves in water quickly. This doesn’t need to be hidden in food.

So this is not a miracle worker, BUT I have noticed improvement in a lot of my PCOS symptoms since taking this supplement. I was diagnosed with PCOS over 15 years ago and have been on different typical medication to help with symptoms but I found other issues with those, so I try to do things as naturally as possible. Unfortunately within the last 2 years or so I really neglected my health and my symptoms went out of control. I add this to my morning shakes (I personally don't care to drink it in water, tho it's not terrible.) I feel like it's helped with my food cravings and mood. I still get breakthrough issues but even a small improvement is better than nothing at this point and I do notice a difference. I think we'll have to order again to take for several months to see if it helps with my cycle as I currently haven't been on long enough to see any effects there. I am using these as well as the tub of the same supplement by the same company. I'm fine with the tub and use that while I'm at home, but this is definitely convenient to have to carry around if I'm not able to use while in at home. I would definitely recommend to others dealing with PCOS!

This seems like a high quality myo-inositol supplement. It mixes well in water, and doesn't taste bad. The packets are convenient, though expensive (probably would want to only use them for travel). However, this supplement was very hard on my system — after a few days of use, I began to feel tired, and after a week or two, I was feeling exhausted and didn't want to take anymore. I'm not sure what it is about myo-inositol supplements that my body doesn't like or if anyone else has had this problem (I've had this issue with other myo-inositol supplements); it might have something to do with leaky gut issues or other digestive stresses. With other supplements, I have just suffered and kept taking them until it seemed like my body tolerated them all right, but I didn't make it that far with this one. It's too bad, because I was looking forward to seeing if a higher quality supplement would help more with hormonal balance. If you can tolerate it, I would definitely go with the tub for normal use and only use the packets for travel — these are double the price, and I don't think the convenience of packets are worth twice as much as a tub with a scoop.

thiis made my period super jacked up. I was over a week late, and then ovulation was painful.... Then I was having breakthrough bleeding. It was garbage. Once I stopped taking it, my cycles went back to every 30 days like clockwork. Do not recommend.

My wife has been taking Inositol for a while now. Usually from a large jar in the morning...These are great because she can stash them in her purse and at work in case she forgets or is in a hurry in the AM. Also because they are premeasured for convenience. She has noticed no difference in performance of these vs the large jar loose powder Inositol.

So, I've been told, as most women have, they have a small growth on their ovary that shouldn't be there. Call is a cyst, call it some other medical term; the point being, it doesn't belong and could possibly cause issues in the future. I've only taken one single packet so far and it seems to be doing the job. Gross, but let's just say that a red tinted liquid came out the next day, probably the cyst, and I feel fine. Going to ask the lady doctor about continued use of this product, but so far, so good. It had a pleasant taste, which is always a relief, because everything meant to heal normally "tastes" like medicine. Would like to recommend to other women with similar issues, but only after using myself as a guinea pig for a little while longer. Know of at least two, including countless others who don't talk about the condition, who'd benefit from the positive effects of this product. Plan to report back once more doses have been consumed and I can better determine whether or not this product is doing as it states. Hoping for hormonal balance as well, which as we ladies get older, is always a battle.

Really not sure how it works, but I find it really does help (and I take only one packet a day, not two like the box says). However my last order either was stolen by the delivery person after they took their delivery photo, or it was stolen afterwards. Really hope whoever took it finds a use for it. However, I am now looking for a different place to purchase as $50+ every two months is a lot to just gift to Amazon for something that I never receive.

I have been using ovafolic for many years with amazing results and love that this product has folate in it, but sadly when they rebranded the packaging the flavour changed. It never used to have a taste at all but now it tastes and smells oddly synthetic, almost chlorine-y. I have used other inositol supplements and have not experienced this flavour so not sure if something is off with the folate since that ingredient isn’t in other products I’ve tried from other brands. Really loved the convenience of the individual packets and supporting a Canadian company but I can’t get over the change in taste :( probably won’t be buying again.

I’m writing this because there are many womens suffering from pcos and they need to try this .I did not get my periods for almost six months and im so scared as my hormones are not balanced and I also got hair growth on chin .I ordered his one and started taking 2 pouches in day as recommended and I got my periods in 2 weeks and I’m so happy and hair growth is also less.earlier I need to shave after 3 days but now I do after week because of less hairs … Plzzz try this one it’s life changing.you will never regret it buying

Purchase June 23rd after no period since Feb. which was my first time missing a period. My Dr told me I might have pcos. If I lose weight my period should be regular again. lost 6 lbs and no period. looked up online and found this. I got my period 3 days ago. Update : Got pregnant in Aug!

As someone with PCOS, this product really works in giving you a regular cycle but the taste of it makes me want to barf. I’m sensitive when it comes to taste and the after taste is gross. The smell is gross. They need to make a flavoured one. I prefer pill form. But if you don’t have sensitive tastebuds and stomach, this won’t bother you!
