This is my second Ronco rotisserie. I had my first one for many years, cooking a chicken every week in it. It lasted a long time and when I went to replace it. I could not find another. I purchased a different one and after years (this part is embarrassing) of uneven cooking, sometimes inedible, I just threw it out. I was thrilled to see the Ronco offered again! I do have to say that I don't feel two chickens can be cooked at once, unless they are very small. But I do not have a problem with that.

I used an older model a few years ago to cook rib roast and turkey for the holidays and I and everyone really loved the results. Memories of the pleasure drove me to buy this since from various moves, I lost the one that I had. I bought this particular model initially to cook the turkey for thanksgiving. It arrived on time and although I expected all the components to be stainless steel, since that is why I specifically chose the stainless steel model, the one that I received, still had the inner components with the non-stick coating. Yes, it does make it easier to clean but I would have still preferred the stainless steel for personal reasons. Ok, so I accepted the non-stick coating and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to fit a 12lb turkey in the unit. ***Here is what needs to be known! When the original Ronco Rotisserie's were made, they must have studied the cooking time to print the recommended cooking time per pound based on what is being cooked. In my case, it was turkey. I remember with the old rotisserie, the cook times were very accurate. However, as some other reviewers have mentioned, the newer models are different. It could be the way the speed in the turning mechanism or the heat of the heat bars. Regardless, I overcooked the thanksgiving turkey! It looked beautiful but it was way overcooked even though I pulled it out 30 minutes before the recommended time. Honestly, I wish that I would have experimented with it before thanksgiving. Anyway, the machine works great but the recommended cooking times are way off. I highly recommend to use a thermometer to understand the true cooking times. After a few days, I cooked a large chicken doing just that, using a thermometer, and the results were outstanding. This machine is a rotisserie and does what is supposed to do and does it very well. Just DO NOT rely on the recommended cooking times printed on the unit or the manual. Use a thermometer to learn the true cooking times!

This thing works so good and the chicken is so juicy. Nothing to dislike about this thing.

Works great and is easy to set up and use. Have made lots of different things and all are well cooked in the time it says and taste great. The plastic door track was broken when it arrived with loose plastic pieces in the box like lots of other reviews said, but the door still works and I'm too lazy to send it back or complain.

This is awesome! Sharp looking, love the stainless steel. It's roomy and sturdy! Easy to clean. So versatile, it cooks chicken and rib eye perfectly and with ease!

This thing is nice! Easier than my gas rotisserie as this is set and forget. First run we did a 3 pound rib roast. Hour and 15 mins later came out perfectly ! Nice crust outside and juicy inside .

Works perfectly

We bought this to replace a very old rotisserie that we had and are very happy with this. It is sturdy, quiet and cooks evenly. The meat comes out so juicy and tender. It is sleek and modern looking, on the medium to large side so we store in a closer bc too large for countertop storage.

I had been diligently studying rotisseries because I wanted the largest affordable one I could unearth. Spent weeks doing comparisons. Having used it heavily, it has not failed me for the years since I bought to bring satisfaction.

First time we used it, it quit working. Contacted the company, no reply! Very poor customer service!

Don’t buy this machine. It used to be a good product . Not any more and the seller will not return emails. I have now been contacted by the seller and a refund issued so that part is great but for anyone thinking of buying this...I would check with Ronco to see if they have changed the motors to speed them up. It is far too slow as it is and dries out your supper.

Bought this from Amazon Sept 2023. Was great while it lasted. Used it mostly for chicken, with some basket use. Great appliance but by September 2024, the element stopped working. Only a 90-day manufacturer’s warranty on it (for obvious reasons). I would love to replace it but paying that price every year for this appliance is far from worth it. It would be cheaper to pick up a Costco chicken twice a week, especially when you factor in the price of the chicken. Impressed with the quality when it worked. Sorely disappointed in the poor quality of the choice of materials and/or workmanship.
