Both are regular now with no problems. Also, during the transition, I couldn't get either of them to eat even one piece of their old food. They would both pick out the Canidae and gobble it up and then leave their old food in the bowl until they were later famished! It was funny to watch! The box that the food was shipped in wasn't even big enough for the bag and the UPS driver brought me the food, with pieces of the box laying on top of the bag. About 6 months in I started noticing excessive stools and diarrhea. Uh oh. I thought maybe all those reviews were right. But I had been letting my kids feed the dogs and they were giving them too much! We had a family meeting and showed them proper portions and IMMEDIATELY the diarrhea stopped. LESS IS MORE with this dog food! My 70lb Golden at 7yo get 1.5 cups PER DAY. That’s all she needs. More than that and runny stools. Same with the 1.5 year old pup. Start with the minimum amount suggested on the bag for your dog and you shouldn’t have any trouble. So many people don’t even read the bag- it’s worth it! We still love this food! *************************************** I have a 6 year old Golden Retriever and a 10 month old Golden...and 3 kids! I have been looking for a food that I could feed them both for convenience but wanted a good quality food.
