Serves it purpose. Going beyond 1000VA will trip the whole system, you will have to restart it. I tried using 1200W vacuum cleaner but it tripped it.

It came in another model box , with no instruction manual , and some scratches , I can not tell if it used or a it is new one.I will update its performance latter.Stoped working after year and half.

there is some UPS backup issue, no power with stand more than 5min in direct power connection with load.

Rapport qualité prix intéressant (payé 76€). Une odeur assez forte a été présente durant les premiers jours d'utilisation mais a totalement disparue à présent. L'onduleur fait son boulot, mais ne vous attendez pas à retrouver des fonctionnalités plus avancée comme un branchement USB pour prévenir les machines connectées en cas de coupure, il y a juste 4 prises ondulées, rien de plus. J'ai du acheter des adaptateurs pour assurer une connexion avec la terre sur certains équipements. Mais à ce prix, ce produit est très satisfaisant. A prix "normal" (130€) , je l'aurais probablement renvoyé.

Purchased as a support for my Starlink satelite router which does not like the power fuctuations that I have in rural Devon. This is spot on - the outages in power are only for a few minutes but its enough to cause Starlink to reset, which then takes up to 6 hours to re orientate. This is only small and one the budget end of the price range but its enough to power the dish and the router for up to 30 mins which is long enough to shut down properly if needed or to smooth out any small interuptions. Couple this with using a laptop for work means that I dont have any downtime & interuptions are kept to a miniumum.

The BV1000I-MS I purchased comes with no Quality Assurance Test receipt, which is odd as it seems to be the norm for other APC UPS which I have bought recently ( BX625CI-MS & APC SMX2200 series). Charged the UPS overnight for 8 hours before using it. Noticed that the unit runs quite warm while charging (room is not air conditioned). A few days later, I connected it to my Lenovo P500 workstation, a 27 inch & 22 inch monitor. As a stress test, I tried running BOINC & Folding@home simultaneously. Wall outlet power draw was about 500W & the ambient temperature was about 28C. It ran fine for about an hour of so. After that, I noticed a soldering smell from the unit & also see a faint wisp of smoke. There was no beeps or alerts from the UPS but it was very warm to touch near the vents. I immediately switch off the mains & proceed to shutdown my workstation. I am not sure if the unit is defective or I simply placed too much load on it. Will not be using it for my workstation, may try it again with less demanding hardware. <27/08/22> Update: Got a refund for the unit from Amazon. So it's a 5 stars for the service. Still undecided on whether to send the unit for electronics disposal or to perhaps test it on lower loads (50% or less).

J'utilise cet onduleur pour pouvoir garder mes écrans allumés en cas de panne électrique. Les prises sont universelles,mais le produit est livré avec un câble UK... A voir a l'usage..
