Weleda Hydrating Sea Buckthorn Body Wash, 6.8 Fluid Ounce, Gentle Plant Rich Cleanser with Sea Buckthorn and Sesame Oils

I recently tried this product and I like the scent and how my skin feels moisturized after my shower! Yes, I recommend this product.

Have been using this for years and it’s such a great product. It’s not abrasive, or drying it’s creamy and light and smells naturally great.

I purchased this body wash because I already use Weleda's Sea Buckthorn body oil Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body Oil, 3.4 Ounce on a regular basis to treat the keratosis pilaris on my upper arms and was curious about other Sea Buckthorn-containing products. I was so glad I tried this. It's creamy, lathers very well (I apply it with a plastic mesh pouf), and smells great! The scent is actually somewhat citris-y to me, which is invigorating in the early-morning shower before work. I'm not sure whether this body wash alone would help soothe my keratosis pilaris (would have to experiment a little bit), but it does leave my skin silky soft and moisturized. I actually need to order more because I just ran out and I totally miss it!

I really, really like this body wash. The creamy consistency feels luxurious, and it lathers up great. My skin feels nice and not at all dried out like some products, but I can't say it feels better than when I use a Dove bar. The biggest standout part of this product is the smell! Oh, it's heavenly. It's hard to put my finger on exactly what it smells like, the best I can do is a citrusy sweet tart candy. I absolutely love it, it's probably the best smelling body wash I've used. However, it is kind of a small tube for the price, so I'm not sure I can say it will entirely replace my Dove bars which are dirt cheap and accomplish the same goal of cleaning my body without stripping it. I could only really justify paying the higher price if it did something amazing for my skin, but really I just love the feel and smell. Nevertheless, I will be sad when it runs out, and I may repurchase to treat myself at some point.

Love this stuff, and the scent is fabulous. Not perfumy. Unfortunately, the scent doesn't linger long enough for my liking. Beneficial to others who don't want the scent to last.

Lovely product, but hard to find in my area stores. This body wash leaves your skin feeling soft and nourished.

This stuff smells really good, but it doesn’t seem to do well removing bacteria since after showering I can still smell body Oder in my pits. I would recommend something else or put some tea tree essential oils into it

Moisturizing body wash that also cleanses better than any soap I’ve ever used. Last Halloween, I dressed up as a skeleton with full black/white theatrical face paint (Mehron CreamBlend Stick). At the end of the night when it was time to wash my face and go to bed, none of my regular facial cleansers could clean my face. The only thing that worked was the sea buckthorn body wash. It was unbelievable how well it worked and how completely gentle it was. I had scrubbed and scrubbed with multiple facial cleansers and gotten nowhere but with just a few drops of sea buckthorn body wash I removed all the face paint with almost no effort. Total life-saver.

Love its citrus smell. Is creamy in texture and gentle on skin. However, the skin does feel a little dry after a few minutes, and you may need to use a body lotion.

Since becoming aware of the amount of harmful chemicals in most skincare products on the market, I’ve been searching for alternatives for my current skincare products. Pros - 1) Great for sensitive skin- Love Weleda and this wash has a very subtle smell which is good for my sensitive skin. 2) Effective - Glides beautifully on my skin and makes it supple and soft. Cons- 1) Cost- this isn’t a cheap product given the size but for what it’s worth (clean product) it is to be expected. Although this defeats the aim, because we really need people to make the switch to products that don’t contain chemicals that harm them, but I anticipate this will be a deterrent for some. 2) Doesn’t foam (as much) - Again, to be expected because it doesn’t contain chemical foaming agents we have in many products out there. Verdict- Would recommend it though if you have sensitive skin and like me want to switch away from regular skin care brands with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Langzeitfazit Nach über zwei Jahren kann ich sagen, dass die WELEDA Sanddorn Vitalisierungsdusche absolut hält, was sie verspricht. Sie pflegt, reinigt sanft und bietet mit ihrem Duft einen täglichen kleinen Wellnessmoment. Für mich ist sie unverzichtbar geworden und hat sich langfristig bewährt. Fazit Die WELEDA Sanddorn Vitalisierungsdusche ist ein wahres Multitalent: erfrischender Duft, sanfte Reinigung, intensive Pflege – und das alles auf Basis natürlicher Inhaltsstoffe. Nach zwei Jahren bin ich immer noch rundum zufrieden und empfehle sie jedem, der Wert auf Qualität und Hautfreundlichkeit legt.
