GREAT MONITOR!
I’ve bought two of these monitors and haven’t had any issues at all. The price is great, and the image quality is solid. The settings are easy to adjust to your liking, and it fits well on any desk you can even use it as a vertical monitor. The color accuracy is great, and I haven’t run into any problems. It’s a good starter monitor for gaming. Just note that this model is not touchscreen.

excellent picture quality, great size and GREAT VALUE for general use
First of all, a shout out to the packaging engineers and packaging designers. Unboxing this item is a pleasure - the clear tape that allows removal of the entire contents in one go is appreciated, and all the packing materials remain in original condition should the need for repackaging arise. Included are the monitor itself, power cable and adapter, an HDMI cable, an extra audio cable (not necessary with HDMI), and the base in two pieces. The base is metal and heavy and sturdy and snaps together easily, and allows height and tilt adjustment. Very thin black bezel. As others have said, the small buttons for adjusting the picture are hidden under the bottom edge on the right side (facing), BUT once the menu button is pushed, a small screen appears right above them indicating the location and function of the buttons, which made it quite easy to make adjustments. I did play with those, but ended up pretty much back at the original configuration out of the box. Other reviewers panned the speakers - I do not share their view, because this is a home computer setup for general use, not gaming nor audio reference, They are fine for audio on you tube videos and news stories, no static nor background noise.. The picture quality is outstanding visually, very clear for text in 1080p. The size is very good for viewing two pages side by side. Overall I am very pleased with this monitor, it is a GREAT VALUE!

Incredible Value, Minor Shortcomings, but 5-Star for the Price Range
First off, I bought a pair of these monitors for a home office a few months ago, and I liked them so much for the price I bought two more to upgrade at the office-office. Have not used these for gaming or any intensive media. PROs: Pivot/swivel into Portrait orientation (my specific requirement); looks fairly decent, especially w/ the slim edges; screen is pretty nice for most home and business applications; built in speakers are useful if you have no other speaker or headphone solution. CONs: The screen is decent enough, but with the 24" model I feel like any larger would start getting fuzzy for text/office use. The tinny speakers are only useful if you have NO other sound option, but nobody should really expect Bose quality from a $100 monitor. Wish it had DVI port along with HDMI and VGA. It doesn't compare to even mid-range displays at the electronics stores, but for a fraction of the price these are great monitors for general home/office use. Maybe a 4 star product, but 5 stars based on outstanding value. If looking for an inexpensive monitor that can rotate to Portrait orientation, this is the right choice.

I'm happy with them!
I needed 2 screens for my home office. I looked a lot on here, and settled on these. Namely because they tilt and can be raised and lowered. They also have the ability to rotate, but I doubt I'll ever use that. - If you are setting up a home office and need 2 screens, I definitely recommend these. They look awesome even when not in use; the entire front of the screen is a flat matte-black piece. For example, look at the monitor you're using right now - notice how the screen itself sits indented from the frame around it? Not with these - it's all one flat surface up front. It looks awesome. Buttons lie under the frame on the bottom. - They only have HDMI video hookups - and while they came with HDMI cables, they did me no good. My laptop dock has 2 displayport ports so - I had to buy separate cables just to use these screens. But - they work awesome and the screens look amazing when in use. Super clear, nice and bright. The design of the screen and stand looks great up on your desk. 2 of them side by side will just fit on the average desk, so make sure you have space! - I chose these because of their price and their ability to tilt and raise or lower. And I am very happy with them. The other cheaper monitors you see here don't tilt or raise or lower so I think the extra cost is worth it. You'll be happy with them!

Excellent Monitor for the Price.
I admit, I was suspicious when I saw this for ~$110.00 but I bought one and really enjoyed the look of it and the quality of it that I decided to buy another. It's not a HUGE monitor but it is plenty big enough for me. I use it as a secondary monitor for laptops in a business related manner. The thin bezel is awesome. It make the monitor feel like it doesn't have a bezel except for at the bottom, so you really get full use of all the screen space. The color quality and brightness are great in my opinion and I've not had a bit of issue with either monitor. The one complaint, it did not come with a user manual. A user manual for a monitor...why do you need one? (you might ask)... well, you don't really...but there are 4 buttons on the bottom with no indication of which button does what and no manual in the package. Fortunately, I found a manual online by looking up the model number and came to find out those buttons are all programmable. One is for power, the others are for navigating the OSD menu - to include how it handles the audio (as in from a headphone jack or from the HDMI). Before I discovered that toggle in the menu, I thought the monitor's speakers did not work...alas, a quick toggle and they were sound decent and loud. A worthwhile buy in my opinion. Can't comment about the quality for a gaming monitor, but for all other usage, I don't think you will be disappointed. Don't expect amazing sound from the speakers...but they do work and are decent.

Fantastic monitor! Very clear.
My old monitor bit the dust & I didn't want to spend a lot. This one is a great size (close to 23 inches) and perfect for home use. The resolution is actually better & brighter than I expected. I guess my other monitor was really old, this one seems super clear. :) It comes with a HDMI cable connection for video, so you may want to know about that. Do know that it has the option for the usual serial connection, but that cable doesn't come with. You would have to buy that cable on your own, if your PC does not have a HDMI port. Most of the newer PC's have the HDMI port, but some older models may not. That might be a "nice to know" sort of thing. I've had this monitor for a few months now & I couldn't be happier. The shipping was fast, the price was good (compared to Best buy, was very competitive for the same model), and it's HP, so it's solid product. I love it that I can adjust the height, too. I would buy this again - it has exceeded my expectations.

Works very well with Mac and CCTV Security System
I've been using this a month or so. Very satisfied. This monitor has good color, and even good sound. Not at all a "tinny" or metallic sound like some said. Maybe they have improved that since the older reviews. It isn't a high dollar sound system, but is quite sufficient. Does not cause eye fatigue. Very good picture. It has LOTS of easy-to-figure-out settings to adjust according to your preferences. Basically, plug and play. I had to do a quick search online regarding a setting on my computer because initially, it sort of spread out things so much I could not see my desktop shortcuts. That was an issue with my laptop settings. Not the monitor. Also, I found that it was a little slow right at first when I was setting it up, so when I made a change, I had to wait several seconds for it to do it. But once I got everything adjusted to work with my laptop, it works quickly and perfectly. I'm not high tech at all, and it worked pretty easily out of the box with a few adjustments of the image settings. I use it with a 2013 MacBook Pro (because my laptop has a broken display), and as a monitor for a cctv security system. In order to view optimally, I have to go to the Image Control setting, and then turn the "Overscan" setting to on or off, depending on whether I'm using it as a computer monitor or for the security system. That's a very simple adjustment, even for somebody as low tech as me. Ideally, I'd have two of these so I don't have to switch back and forth. I'm very satisfied. No problems with this monitor. Came very-well packaged. This is a really great monitor, especially for the price!

Wonderful and Large!
I don't usually write reviews because unfortunately not everything I buy exceeds my expectations. I have worked in operations for 4 years now and I'm constantly buying screens for other, but this time I needed one for myself. This was easy to set up (took all of five minutes, not kidding), it slides up and down to adapt to a standing desk, and tilts easily. I wish it was a tiny bit brighter and like all the reviews say, the speakers are trash, so don't buy if you're looking for quality speakers. The speakers and the brightness don't bother me (I play the sound on my laptop and my apartment is rather dark). Its large size is perfect for working on multiple things at once. I can have at least four tabs all open with this. I am very pleased. It came perfectly packaged. I had to buy an adapter as the MacBook Air does not have a HDMI port. Package came with HDMI cord and something that looks like its for the audio. Overall- worth the money if you can use the speakers on your laptop or alternative bluetooth speakers.

Good solid product
I've had this for about 3 months and it's been great! I like the fact that you can rotate the screen (since I'm a coder and that sometimes is very handy)
