The feet sort of tilt up in the back, like the mannequin is on it's tip toes (the picture is pretty accurate if you look at the feet). I'm sure you could, though if you were using the correct shoes or maybe got a bigger pair or possibly an insert. **Q: How do the joints connect?** A: The arms and upper torso are removable - - the legs and lower torso do not separate. The joint is like a male - female connector. **Q: can gloves be put on him as well? sorry forgot to ask that question with the other question i had. thank you** A: It would be difficult, not impossible. All of his fingers are molded together and his thumb is molded to the fingers. You could probably put his hand including thumb in the glove part and leave the thumb part empty. Assembles easily, stands upright correctly. I’m using it occasionally for things related to Halloween. If you’re going to be manipulating it a lot for any reason, this one might not be sturdy enough for you. But if you’re using it intermittently or will put something on it and let it stay that way, it should work well. I keep her disassembled in a large laundry bag when not in use. Not exactly compact, but it is a small human-sized mannequin, so not surprising. To make a floating Halloween ghost I: - used this mannequin (minus the arms, for creepy factor) - wrapped completely in plastic wrap [[ASIN: B00HVY48RE Zipsafe Sealwrap, 12" x 2000']] - covered the plastic wrap in clear packing tape. Where needed for additional structure / strength, I taped the inside as well - removed the ghost from the mannequin by cutting straight up one entire side - peeled it off like a shell - with easier access to the head now that there was a cut up a side, as she’d be hanging outside, I taped the inside of her head up well for strength and added strong fishing line sticking out the top of her head - then I taped up the cut side of her body and - tied the line around a tall branch in our big tree out front.
