A: Strap included or fits to Molle system or on a trouser belt.

**Q: Can this be used securely on a belt? I'm worried it may come off.**
A: It stayed securely on my belt when i wore it for several months.

**Q: are the mesurements accurate for the type 1 because looking at the photos when attached to a bag it looks alot smaller?**
A: Yes the measurements are correct. I recommend buying one, it's real good quality.  I use mine fastened to the sissybar of my Harley-Davidson.
