Fixed the Folder with question mark error
Like the title says, fixed the folder with question mark error. If you get this issue it means your HDD is not being recognized. I tried the tape trick on the old cable but it didn't work. A temp way to get your computer back up and running is to remove your HDD and put it in an enclosure then boot from USB. That allowed me to get on here to research and buy this new cable. The tricky part of installing this was to carefully plug in the LED indicator bar thing. I had to use tweezers to plug it in and flip down the little retainer. Also you have to be careful while bending the cable where the screws go in.

DIY Fix
Went to Apple to see why my computer wasn't booting up. They said it was the flex cable. I figured if it's already broken, I might as well try myself before handing $200 to Apple. I'm not going to pretend to be tech savvy - I watch youtube videos when replacements are needed. An hour later, my computer was up and running again. Very happy I purchased this.
