Get it right the first time. Heat and time is paramount.
I was in the Marines back in the 80’s. I liked the heat transfers we had back then. Your heat transfers aren’t made the same but if you get it just right it looks pretty good.

Great product!
First, I was having flashbacks of being a junior troop when we used these iron-ons for our uniforms! The emblem was very easy to transfer to the shirts, thanks to the instructions that were included. Will recommend them to other jarhead friends!

Absolutely Fantastic
Just opening these made my heart hard again. I felt like I was 18 all over again and my fond memories of the 1980s Parris Island 3rd Battalion Recruit Training. When we earned our Dress Blues at Graduation, polished all our brass, shined those awesome all leather boots to a mirror shine. We worshipped our BDU Cammies throughout our service. You young Marines call us Salty and Grumpy but we went through hell just like you to earn the title United States Marine. If we could we would fight to the death next to you because we are all brothers. I like the new patterns but we cannot stand being uniform with the other branches. Nor do we care for the you are better than old salty devil dogs because of the crucible. We lived the crucible every freaking day in boot. So don't you forget it Marine. Semper Fi

Works well if you know what you're doing.
These are as close to the original as I can find. Do yourself a favor and use a test piece before you fire for effect. Here is what you do:1) Set your iron as high as it will go and make damn sure there is no water in it.2) Preheat your material hot to the touch.3) Make reference marks on the back of your transfer.4) Position your transfer. Don't position over seams.5) Press down with iron nice and hard. I counted to 12.6) Pick up your iron and immediately peel.Good luck.

Hard to find
These decals are hard to find! They are expensive but worth it!

Preheat the cloth material and keep iron on max heat setting to get best results
I used to put USMC stencils from Ken Nolan from my utilites, cammos, then woodlands. The trick was to set your iron to the highest heat setting and pre-heat the uniform you are going to put the stencil on. Before that think carefully how you are going to position the stencil. Once the place on the uniform is preheated, then quickly place the stencil, and quickly place the hot iron over the stencil transfer, and make sure you to not accidentally move the stencil while the extremely hot iron is applied. Know how your iron operates, because these newer irons can have a circuit breaker that kicks in when the iron gets to hot. I had good results with this USMC transfer product. Be sure to apply to flat ironed surface, and you will get bad results if you try to apply transfer on a seam.

Looks great, transfers poorly
These are super nostalgic. I still have a couple transfers from the 1990s that I figured are no longer good - so I bought these. Followed the instructions as closely as possible but did not successfully transfer with an iron. I ruined a cover. The originals transferred much better.
