Lightly Exfoliating Cleansing Soap Bar, Neroli 7 oz

The Marlowe "Coffee Bar Soap" is an instant hit for me! It has a very unique smell IN A GOOD WAY! It's a very masculine smell that, instead of coffee, is more like the smell of a humidor or a fresh [unsmoked] cigar. Immediately one of my favorites and I plan to buy again and would also recommend!

I finally am ready to write this review after trying out the Marlowe charcoal bar. I use this for my underarms because I needed something strong to break down the smell. Well, this bar worked way better than the megababe underarm bar in my opinion with that bar, it did nothing to rid me of the smell even though I enjoyed and loved the smell of that underarm bar. But for this Marlowe bar, it has drastically decreased my body odor. I've tried everything to even gummies for body odor and nothing ever worked until I bought this one and decided to test it out for myself. I had lost hope to be honest because absolutely none worked on me. I can now proudly say, this bar has exceeded my expectations! Has helped reduce the odor by alot! And I will be repurchasing again! And I love the price for this bar. It's very affordable and it's so worth it!

1 Year Update: This bar is really lasting. I use it daily and it's only about 30% smaller than new. One bar might last me two years. Ordering it for family members. Another reviewer commented on a price increase but the current price is only a $1 more than I paid for it a year ago. I bought this soap and the Art of Sport Body Bar at the same time. I wanted a charcoal soap with some texture but not like Lava soap. You have to use it awhile before you get down to the gritty part but it is just lightly gritty. I don't use it on my face or my whole body, just parts that require more effort. I tried it on my face but it left a film I had to wash off with bath gel. The Art of Sport soap was more refined and designed for total cleaning but smelled like it was trying too hard to be masculine (like Axe soaps). This Marlowe soap smelled more like soap than a cheap man's cologne which is fine. Recently my husband's hands got coated with carbon that Dawn and a brush couldn't totally remove. I gave him this soap to try and it removed the remaining stain. No wonder it removes antiperspirant so well.

Marlowe Charcoal Soap is great. 5/5 for moisturizing & one of the best bars of soap I've ever used. Leaves your skin feeling moisturized, clean. The scent is masculine with light Tea Tree notes. I use this in combination with a Tea Tree Body Wash from New York Biology. I add some quality unrefined shea & cocoa butter after a shower for all day moisture. I read somewhere that dermatologist recommend using a triple milled bar soap vs body wash. I've found that some body washes are drying with the exception of Neutrogena & Tea Tree, haven't tried the Marlowe body wash yet but maybe in the future. All the products all play well together. The Tea Tree Body Wash from New York Biology, Marlowe Charcoal Bar Soap & the shea & cocoa butter. Then I finish with some Jergens Ultra Healing. I have really dry skin. The shea & cocoa butter just kinda lays in the cut & does its thing. The end result is sway nice. If you have dry skin, you won't after using this with the other things I mentioned. Try it once. I dare you to have dry skin :) Amazon has Raw shea & cocoa butter. Expensive but lasts 6mo or more. I get the 1lb bar/chunk. Just cut some from each bar & mix into a container with a little coconut oil. Cleaning with Marlowe No. 106 Charcoal Bar Soap before moisturizing makes a huge difference. Even just the soap by itself and Jergens Ultra Healing after a shower, will help a lot if you have dry skin. Best soap I've ever used 5/5

The bars are big and heavy. It doesn’t take much to provide a lot of lather. Definitely feel clean afterwards. For me, the fragrance is a bit much but it doesn’t last beyond the dry.

I’ve had this for a month in a half now and still not finished with it. So it’s a decently good price for the big block! Hope they never increase in price I used to order the 102 scrub constantly but got tired of the medium/high gritty exfoliating after a couple of showers and stopped ordering from Marlowe for a while. It was just too harsh man. I did stick with the charcoal bar after a while too but it felt dry at times and would stain my white towels haha. Recently took a journey back to check on other scrubs and other items and bumped into this, i’ve gotta say.. i love it man. It’s not harsh on the skin after several showers like the 102 was and i love the smell the bathroom builds up on with the steam and soap. It’s quite relaxing. If i could make love to this scent i would. Definitely a keeper and re-order. If this 108 bar was a bit lower priced like $6 - $7.50 i’d be in heaven. Overall, 5 stars from me man.. i’m happy with it.
