To be honest I’m glad the mounting bracket finally works, will update if it breaks but so far looks good value for money but the lock is a bit small

It’s a perfect bike lock in every way.It's coating is actually great. Your bike will never have a scratch from the lock.key is easy and fast to use.only thing is it’s a little bit narrow lock.so if you want to lock.it without something which has width it could be difficult.

At £20, it won't resist angle grinders, but it might bolt cutters. It looks and feels like more expensive D-locks, hopefully, it might dissuade thieves.I don't use the mount bracket, I find it more convenient to simply lock it directly to the frame during a ride, as it stays in place.I measured it to weigh a very light 828 grams, and have a 14mm thickness which is just about acceptable.The wrapping is soft enough around the lock. The anti-rain cover is great.The main problem is that some bike parking tubes are too thick for this lock, but most are fine.Locking and unlocking is a fast blast compared to a chain.I overall recommend ValueMax to anyone who wants to try a budget option to get a feel for a D-lock before buying a more expensive angle grinder-resistant option.

Le support m'a l'air solide,par contre l'élastique qui matien le cadena à son support me paraît fragile (à voir dans le temps ?).Je trouve que le cadena est bien lourd
