Good book loaded with info
Very good book. Dr Blaylock has info on everything. One problem though he recommends all these vitamins and minerals and other supplements. They are very expensive and as well as that it surely cannot be normal to have to knock back all that stuff. I take a few things if they are reasonably priced and hope I get what I need from the food I eat. I have to say though the book is very good value. To get all that info in one book these days is unusual.

Big Review
Don't be fooled by the simplistic title. This is Blaylock's magnum opus, a la Buckminster Fuller's “All I know” lectures, the good doc condenses the knowledge of an entire career dedicated to human health. This book is worth it's weight on gold ! Newly published research on different fields, such as environmental toxins, antioxidants, etiology of several prevalent diseases such as neuronal/cardiac diseases, neurotoxins, pesticides and how they all interact synergistically with each other in previously unimaginable ways, plus: how we are naively carving our own coffins!!! All information comes balanced in his warm and enlightening conversational tone, capable of delighting both your laymen everyday joe/janes as well as medical field degree holders! The book, despite being extremely well researched, technical and with abounding references, reads like a novel. I couldn't put it down and finished it in three days. Now I have even re-read it for the 2nd time. As a medical student I must say I hold dr Blaylock in the highest regard and as an inspiration. My goal to be always as active and engaged as him throughout my career and after it. A renascence man: skilled surgeon and professor of neurosurgery an on his latest piece, he shows us why we should be concerned to everything we are exposed, the history behind the lines and how to counter those exposures. If you think you already know your stuff and can keep your ground on nutrition because you know all about supplements and read a lot about nutrition, get ready to feel humbled and amazed at the same time by a world of information absolutely no one, you, me or Mercola would dream of ! Not even on the next 10 years !!! Blaylock is thousands of miles away of any health nutrition expert. Let me just give you a minor example how the book affected my life. As a busy student in residency with no time I've been regularly eating sardines because, as baby fish, I figured they are good sources of DHA and haven't had time to accumulate mercury, so they are ultra-healthy right? Wrong ! Did you know canned sardines (my particular source) have extremely high levels of fluoride (62mg/kg)?!?! Did you also know that fluoride can damage your mitochondrial DNA turning your brain cells into powerless zombies. If you want to understand how this damage is done and why, check the book. The real gem of the book is how flavonoids are such overpowering elements. You'd think isolated compounds such as ascorbic acid are great antioxidants? Think again, flavonoids are way more antioxidant and reactive, and Blaylock shows exactly how to combine them obtaining a synergetic effect. Well, I'll say no more. Do yourself a favor and get this. It should be required reading in all high schools sand colleges, I have read hundreds and hundreds of good books but I haven't read anything as helpful as this one, not even close. Read this and save your life
A ver important book everybody shouldl when you read read to stay healthy. It scares you what the food producers are doing to us.

This should be REQUIRED reading!
This book is not just filled with health tips and secrets. In my honest opinion, this material should be required reading!This past year, my eyes have been opened and mind overwhelmed as I've done just the tiniest bit of research into "food" in America. From all of the hidden ingredients in many products to the genetic manipulation of plants (now fish too!), it is absolutely flabbergasting what is considered "safe" to eat these days.Dr. Blaylock clearly indicates many harmful toxins we are exposed to from food and other sources. He uses language that is very easy to read and understand and, best of all, gives his recommendations for measures we can be taking to reduce our exposure to toxins and for measures we can be taking to treat our exposure through food, vitamins, and supplements.There is also a very useful index in the back. I have not read this book cover-to-cover, but I have read a good percentage of it just by looking topics up from the index that I was interested in and going to the chapters that were of highest concern to me. I have learned so much more than I would be able to write in this review.I seriously cannot recommend this book highly enough. I would give it 10 stars if that was allowed. Please read this book and then share it with someone you love!
