They're large enough to hold a great deal and the lids that sit neatly on the jars are especially easy to open and close. I can think of so many more storage uses that I may have to order another dozen. Great quality!

I ordered these for my mother as she has been looking for some "plain" apothecary jars for some time. These do not disappoint. They are THICK and HEAVY, but that is not surprising as these are actually for the medical industry, not some home good. You are going to have a hard time breaking one of these short of dropping it on a concrete floor and even that might not do it. The lids are stainless and and are finished well in a brushed motif. My only complaint is I'd like to see some varying heights, and while they do sell them the smaller jars are almost double the money of these 7" ones (:screwy:).
