Great clutches
I ordered these for my 08 KLR650. Install was a snap and took about an hour and a half. Came with all frictions and steals needed, also all springs. Don't forget coolant, oil, oil filter, clutch cover gasket, water pump gasket, and needed o rings and seals. Once you have all your components the clutch can be installed start to finish with cleanup in about an hour. Absolutely worth the time and money. Installed flawlessly and a vast improvement over the old cork clutches. You'll notice the increased clutch spring tension which equals more gripping power and once your accelerating under load these clutches hook up much faster. Definitely recommend

Good quality, reasonable price. Don't forget the gaskets & clutch cable. - Recommend
My '08 KLR has over 27k miles. I don't ride it hard, but recently I had run some Jeep trails and sandy creek beds, riding the clutch quite a bit. I hadn't pulled the right side cover off (ever), so I figured it's time. And I'm glad I got the DP kit. I mic'd my old plates and they had plenty of meat left on them. However, the springs were definitely under the minimum length. Yes, I could've just gotten away with replacing the springs, but I had the whole kit, so why not? The instructions say you don't need to soak the plates, but I did anyway. Everything went in nicely, and I made sure I cleaned out the sump screen. Of course, you'll need the right side gasket, but I forgot to get the water pump gasket. And I changed the clutch cable, too. Anyway, I'm still breaking the new clutch in, but there's definitely some good, strong meat there. I can't wait to get out in the desert again. This is a great product if you're planning to get the job done right.

Very Good Upgrade
Replaced perfectly good stock clutch on 2008 KLR650 that I acquired and am setting up for dual sport rides. Combined with extended clutch arm this provides a very smooth, light and strong clutch pack that is very easy to install. Came with an extra spring in my case likely to fit other years/models.
