I used this while visiting family and now I’m hooked. I have never felt so clean in my life! My skin actually squeaks after I use this soap. Even several hours after bathing my skin still feels completely clean. Now I’ve got my friends and coworkers using this soap.

Made my skin extremely soft after first use. It lathers like crazy. Gives you a squeaky clean kind of feel while wet but when dry, the skin in very soft. Tried using it on my hair as a shampoo too, and it works but it gives my hair a weird texture, so it’s just not for my kind of hair (straight hair). It is unscented but its still got a bit of an earthy scent to it as expected from the natural ingredients.

I had always been curious about African black soap, so when I saw this, I just had to try it. I am so impressed! It's not much to look at; it's chunky and brown, and it leaves brown residue in the soap dish, but it's great soap, which is the most important part.The best part of it is that it just smells like soap should smell, like cleanliness. I don't know what that smell is, but it there is no perfume to this at all, which is important to me because I am allergic to most scents and various other chemicals. In fact, I waited until a weekend to try this out so that I wouldn't miss work in case of an allergic reaction. What happened was quite the opposite.This soap doesn't just smell clean; it also makes me feel clean, and it's wonderful for my face. My skin was so soft and smooth after just a few uses, and maybe it's my imagination, but I feel like my skin is looking better.The 3-lb. bulk pack is perfect for sharing with family and friends. The soap is soft enough to cut through with a kitchen knife to also make it small enough for the soap dish in your shower. I'm so glad I found this soap. It's ugly but effective, and most important, it doesn't set off my allergies.

SUPER FUN to have on hand if your family is a bunch of pranksters.Soft n squishy, easy to shape to look like poop, sausage, vomit or whatever. Unsuspecting family or guests may be subjected to finding these treasures in many places at our house. Imagine the horror when you pick it up bare handed. Priceless.The soap’s good too.

Well, my wife has warned me on several occasions what fate will come to me if I keep using black soaps in the shower (they do make it look a mess). But I like it - and these in particular seem really hardcore, perhaps because "raw" - so I can at least use it in my workshop sink. It is really nice soap, but I lather up big time, so in the shower, it really does end up everywhere.

Cut on your own , really no smell

Most of these bars have a thick white coating like we have never seen before. We have been purchasing African Black soap for over 15 years from various companies, but have never ever seen it look like this.When African Black Soap dries, it does have a thin whitish coating, but the coatings on these bars is very unusual. It looks like mold or baking powder. Tried to contact the company, but just got a message machine. Don't feel comfortable using this, unfortunately.
