To be clear, this hibiscus oil is great for moisturizing. I've been using three to four drops of it in my hair and it definitely softens the texture. The other benefit it claims to have is that it reduces dandruff and heals wounds! That's a major plus for me because I get tons of random scrapes and bumps and bruises on my scalp when my hair is in protective styles or from too much pulling. I've been giving my scalp massages at night after a lymphatic drainage routine and I can't help but notice how relieved my scalp feels. It works wonderfully.......but it smells too herbal! I can get beyond the smell but sometimes I just want the essence of shampoo and conditioner, not wet leaves. Bottom line: great for hair and skin, not a fan of the scent.
