A gong to make noises
I like the sound that it makes. I used to make a loud noise at conferences to declare the start of the conference and/or inform delegates that dinners were ready. The package was opened when it was delivered and the ribbon for holding the gong gone missing. But that was okay as it was easy enough to find another ribbon to do the job.
