A fun, well made game that’s easy to learn and provides a huge amount of fun for the family.
Here we have an interesting and fun board game that is easy to learn, can be set up and played in a few minutes and provides a lot of enjoyment for the family. The game itself comes in an attractively designed box and inside you receive the following parts and pieces:1x game playing board100x colour game cards24x wild colour game cards34x rule cards15x conquer coins3x game pieces1x wooden diceThe rules are simple enough, roll the dice and hop over to different spots around the board. Ask up to 10 yes or no questions to correctly guess the animals on the Game Cards! Categories include Bugs and Birds, Land Animals, Underwater Animals. Answer correctly and conquer the spot or choose to play a wild card. The key rule here is you can only answer yes or no. No ambiguity, hints or tips. It’s all good fun and rounds generally last around 20 - 30 minutes depending on the number of players, age of the players and an element of general animal knowledge. I am sure given time, children will start to learn the animals and understand better so it does have a limited amount of repeated playability to it but I personally feel it still represents good value for money. My children thoroughly enjoyed playing it although I would say it’s more aimed at a younger audience. The manufacturers recommended age is 6 plus which feels about right. I can’t see too many adults getting together to play a few rounds to be fair. Quality wise, the board and cards are well printed and coloured and the card is fairly thick so it all seems good. The wooden playing pieces are generally ok and coloured red, blue and yellow. We had a few chips and splashes on our set. It certainly doesn’t affect gameplay at all but given the game is priced pretty high (£22.99 at time or review) I would have expected a sightly better quality finish. Not a deal breaker though and we still had plenty of enjoyment as a family whilst playing this game. I would be happy to recommend this game to anyone and I will be looking to invest in a few other games by this manufacturer based on experience playing with this one. A good product at a fair price.

Are You a Boardgame?
The Yes/No game is a classic car journey time waster. Guess in ten yes/no questions a person, animal of object. Selling this is a box should be tricky, but Skillmatics have come up with a good format called 'Guess in 10', in this case 'World of Animals'. The game combines a bit of 'Risk' with guessing in ten questions. The board is divided into spots that get a player to guess a land, water or bird/bug in 10 questions. There is a little more complexity to it that makes the game better than just asking for random animals. You get a rules card that determines how many clues you get up front. You can also land on a wild card that will make you do something fun. The winner is the first person/team to own five spots. It works well and is easy enough to pick up, although 6 is pushing it. The added rules and clues mean that it is certainly more complex than the original yes/no game, but it is these tweaks that justify making a board game of it and charging. It is good fun, especially for a family. The boards and pieces are well made, and it is different from the other games that we own.

A simple game that is very easy to grasp
A board game for 2 to 3 players, that can last about 30mins. If there is more than 3 players, then form teams. You get a gaming board, 100 game cards of land animals, sea creatures and bugs & birds. Also 3 gaming figures, 24 wild cards, 34 rule cards, coloured dots and a dice. The object of the game is to conquer 5 spots by asking 10 yes and no questions on animals, throw the dice, move to a spot, correctly guess the animal and win the spot, rule cards help you by gaining clues from the animal card that you have to guess. The coloured spot you land on, depends on which animal you have to guess. The instructions are very comprehensive, and explain moves to help you understand the game, see my photos for a more detailed explanation of the game. The game is very easy to grasp, my young grandchildren picked it up in no time, and there was a different outcome with every game.A great simple family game, that can be used on any occasion, or a great gift idea.

A simple but fun game.
This is a really fun game and it's a great way of teaching children more about animals. My daughter is eleven and I wasn't sure whether she would like this game but she loves it and we have played it every day since we got it. The rules of the game are really easy to understand and it is really fun to play, some of the animal cards are really easy, but many are not and I really like that you pick a card that tells you how many clues you get as it makes it more interesting. My main gripe with the game is that it is aimed at at least three players, so when my daughter and I play it together we don't have enough conquer coins as you only get five of each colour, which is fine when there are three people/groups, but they go really fast with two playing and because there are only three colours we can't both use the third colour. It's a shame but we could make an alternative, but I do think it is something that the makers should have thought about. The other thing that I would change is the information on the animal cards, I think that it should have more information as sometimes my daughter has no idea about the animal I am trying to guess and so struggles to answer my questions for the more obscure animals like sea sponges. The cards and the pieces are good quality so I would expect this game to last a long time and you get enough animal cards to mean that there is a lot of variety and so it would take an awful lot of playing before the cards got repetitive. I think this is a great game and I would definitely give it as a gift.

Fun and learning for the whole family!
As educators, we are always looking for games that are fun and educational, and Guess in 10 Around the World hits the mark! This game managed to delight and challenge a 9-year-old, 12-year-old, and grown-ups. And it gave Dad a chance to brush off his 5th grade Geography Bee Champion skills. :)The kiddos quickly learned to use the lovely illustrations on the board to look for clues for some of the answers. Dinner interrupted and paused our first playing of the game, and our entire dinner conversation focused on the content we learned through playing the game. What a treat! We found that playing with teams (one kid + one grownup) worked best for us initially since the kids haven't learned about places like Big Ben yet. We downloaded the app and got our free digital pack. We are looking forward to hours of fun, learning, and conversation. This is our new favorite family game!

Great game for the entire family!
As a family, we do games night every weekend, so we decided to buy and try something new. The kids loved the game and spent time before the it even began, just pointing out the elements and landmarks that they could recognize! My nephew loves food, and always made sure that he landed on either a food spot or the “Wild Card”. They loved the rule cards that had a buzzword and a clue and always sighed when they only got one buzzword but it resulted in lots of excited anticipation to pick up rule cards throughout the game! This is a great board game that I would recommend because it teaches them so much about the countries, cities, and landmarks, to foods around the world!

Love the new Guess in 10 Board game at home after enjoying the card game on so many trips!
We bought this game because we love the Guess in 10 card games. This is the perfect way to incorporate multiple themes into one fun-filled game! We played this game a few times – it was 2 adults and a set of twins (9 year olds). The game was educational and exciting for all of us! The rules are extremely easy to understand and to explain. The Rule Cards make every round of the game exciting – with different prompts in every round (buzzwords vs clues). There’s some fun dynamism added with the Wild Cards too. The gameplay is refreshing and unlike any other we’ve played. We all had a great time playing and have planned a special game night just to play this game over the weekend!

Super Fun Game to play with family and friends!
The gameplay is super easy, you have to guess the card correctly to conquer spots! Once you conquer 5 spots you win! I played it with my siblings really enjoyed playing the game as a family as we learnt about countries, cities, landmarks and foods around the world! Would totally recommend as a fun game that can be played post-dinner or during trips.
