The neoprene strap is buoyant! **Q: Are both pairs tinted? It only says it for the pattern one.** A: We ordered the black pair and they are tinted. My kids love them, but they can't use them when we go night swimming. **Q: Have they fixed the issue of the ripping ?** A: If properly cared for, there should be no issue with ripping with the Masterz strap. Both chlorine and salt water are corrosive to neoprene so to ensure your Masterz stay in great shape, make sure to rinse your goggles in fresh water after using at the pool or beach.
