These work like a charm for the audio equipment in our home. We currently have two: one for a restored 1940’s RCA Victor which had a 1/8” input added that we use to receive Bluetooth; and another for an early aughts Sony turntable that transmits Bluetooth. These units bring modern convenience to vintage gear.

A handy device that I use when I want to have a movie blasting loud, but don't want to disturb the neighbors. The set up was easy, it connects to my Bluetooth headphones easily. The sound quality is great, the range it on par with most other Bluetooth devices. I like the digital screen. Comes with connetors/cables to get you up and running out of the box. I think it was a good value and a worthy purchase

I use this so I can pair bluetooth earbuds with my older TV. I think it's a great, simple design. The sound quality is good and I've had no issues pairing my earbuds. I've only used the Rx (receiving) function and the sensitivity of the device is very good--so good, in fact, that it often detects my neighbor's devices (among shared walls in an apartment).I hate to be picky, but my major gripe is that there is no "off" button. The device is in my bedroom, and I don't like devices emitting light when I'm trying to sleep in a dark environment. The LCD screen is great and very handy for identifying receiving/transmitting state and what device is connected, but it is bright if you're trying to sleep, so an off switch would be nice. If it weren't for that, I'd give it 5 stars, hands down. This is only a mild inconvenience, as I simply unplug it before I go to bed.Even so, I still highly endorse it if you're looking for a simple, cost-effective solution. I've only used the receiving function, but I love that it has a transmitting option, too, as that makes it very versatile and an even better value for the money.

I bought this product because I didn't like that the Bluetooth transmitter in my Samsung TV shuts off the sound to all other connected sound devices when a Bluetooth device is connected. I wanted the option of having the regular speakers on low while someone who needs more volume could use Bluetooth headphones simultaneously. I got that to work pretty well, except that there is a considerable lag between the sound in the room and the sound in the headphones which is pretty confusing and annoying. But there is another problem that was really unexpected and strange. When the Bluetooth headphones are turned off, this device tries to pair up with the television which causes the TV to lose its picture and otherwise act really bizarre. I was able to get rid of that problem by going into some really weird and scary settings using "secret" key combinations on the TV remote to get deep into some very strange, hidden and scary technical settings in the TV software to shut off the TV's Bluetooth. I am moderately tech-savvy and follow instructions really well, but this process made me very uncomfortable, though I did manage to do it successfully.So it seemed to work okay for a few days. Then I went to try to show my sister-in-law how to use it and couldn't get any sound through the headphones. I thought that the problem was with the headphones at first, but it will not transmit sound to anything. The display and the devices indicate that there is a connection, but there is no sound at all.I had this thing for close to a year before I hooked it up, so I don't plan to ship it back. However, I did order a different device that claims to have very low latency that I think may work better for my intended purposes.

So... let's get the only remotely close to a'bad thing' is it does NOT have..internal battery.it does NOT work without external (usb corded) power source..IF you want/need to make it be fully 'wireless' and/or 'rechargeable', get a small external usb portable 'power bank' and thats the 'fix'thats not really a 'big' deal. pretty much any USB/cell charger (i.e charging wall block/usb port of a laptop/pc/tv/router/anything with a USB port.. etc) works. Most of us have a USB cable/wall block from most modern (made within the past 5ish years or so) android phone (i.e Samsung Galaxy/LG/etc..) somewhere LOLNOW...It is by far, one of the best, most versatile audio extender/adapter/accessory for many uses.I personally got it to use for adding sound to an Halloween event prop, by putting the prop sound effects on a micro SD, then sending (via bluetooth) the sound to a set of LED speakerbulbs inside the prop, as an example of creative use..Worked FLAWLESSLY.READ THE INSTRUCTIONS..it IS very easy to use, setup, but you definately need to take a (literally) minute to learn how to set its mode/function and Bluetooth send/receive mode. From 'out of box' to 'fully functioning' took mabe.. three to five minutes, at most..and that was me testing every mode/feature/function/finding and connecting physical and bluetooth/power/audio.I Highly reccomend for any DJ, audiophile, custom sound/speaker maker, home theater designer, etc.SO many ways to pretty much get any sound to anywhere , on almost any speaker[that takes Bluetooth ,RCA,headphone jack] from almost any source, and its small, wallet friendly, and usefull.

This is a very good product that works as advertised, I am very satisfied with the way it works and I will recommend it to my friends and family and anyone else that looks at this amazing device that transmits Bluetooth signals to headpones, speakers, and it pairs up well and fast,, I would recommend it to anyone else that needs Bluetooth pairing with any Bluetooth system.

I purchased this to use with a TCL 5 series television that I wanted to connect to an Amazon Echo Dot that was also connected to a larger speaker via headphone jack.This BT transceiver does work as a transmitter with the TV using the supplied 3.5mm audio cable plugged into the TCL 5 Series' headphone output jack. Volume however is low, even after maxing out the transmitter's volume control (press and hold the right arrow button to increase volume). This requires me to raise the Echo Dot's volume higher than usual so now Alexa when speaking is super loud.Besides the need to jack the volume up, there is a noticeable delay in audio when watching the TV, likely due to this transceiver's internal processing. With the sound not being in sync with the TV (about a half second delay it seems), speech gets pretty annoying. If you're simply listening to music, it's no big deal but video and audio need to be in sync for an enjoyable experience. I do not recommend using this for broadcasting BT audio from a TV.

Oh man I'm so glad I found this. I was given a turntable as a gift, and it came with a tiny pair of tabletop speakers that just weren't going to do it for me. And then just because of how my apartment is set up, I could not find a cord long enough to connect the turntable to my speakers without it being all in the way. At first I could only find bluetooth receivers and then I finally found this. The bluetooth connectivity is fast and simple. Easy to set up and easy to use. It's also about the size of an 8 pack of AA batteries, so it is very compact and absolutely is not in the way. And since it plugs in, there's no worry about battery life So far it works well. The instructions in the box were simple to follow (you have to toggle it into transmitter or receiver mode) and I have not had a problem with it since I set it up. Connecting these to my stereo is much, much more satsifying than using the tabletop speakers. This was a lifesaver.

works good inside my 2008 infinity ex35 where there is red/white connections in the center console. I'm not sure why but initially it took a few minutes for the device to become discoverable through Bluetooth? mine did show up as "C39S" when it did show up. But after I was able to connect to it the first time. it connected right away the second time. I would say sound quality is about a 4/5, if you're playing anything a little bit louder. you get a little bit static feedback. but otherwise it's in my mind worth the price.

I wanted a Bluetooth interface so I could keep using my old Milwaukee tool radio. This worked perfect for this and price was reasonable. For my needs. Was exactly what I needed!
