These are exactly what I needed, and now I don’t need a new bike rack.

Update: after 4 months, all 6 are broken. I use my bike rack around 1-2 times a week. Total crap.I've been using these new replacement bike rack cradles for about 6 weeks. Two are broken; the red plastic split in half. When they arrived, I should have received three right side versions and three left side versions. Had to install one backwards because my package contained 4 left-side and 2 right-side. Disappointed and shopping for replacements again. I regret throwing away the originals. Even broken, they were better than these.

I used these to replace the cradles on my old Bell trunk bike rack, which were falling apart due to dry rot. They were very easy to install and fit perfectly. They have a small screw in the bottom that lets you tighten them to the bike rack bar a bit. The elastic straps fit very snugly and securely, which is great, but it can be difficult to wrestle them on and off. The cradles themselves are a bit more stiff than I expected, but they do have some flexibility, so they can accept larger top tubes. Not sure if that flexibility will be limited in cold weather yet, but I'll update if that's an issue. They're definitely an upgrade over the original cradles on the bike rack though, and they'll likely give me years more use out of my rack at a tiny fraction of the cost of a new rack.

We used this to replace the ones the rats ate through. Easy to put on and felt pretty durable for the price. We went on a few bike rides last year and plan on doing more when the weather clears up.

I purchased these to replaced the rubber cradles on a cheap Harbor Freight Tools bike rack. They fit perfectly, and now that cheap bike rack is just as stable as a rack costing 3X as much. I'm very pleased, and because I only needed 4 mounts, I've got a couple of spares.

This product is very snug. The pipe I was fitting to was The pipe measures circumference 3.5;3.5÷3.14159=1.11409 OD. I had to boil the product for two minutes to soften the plastic to get it to fit over the pipe for my bike rack. Hopefully this didn’t compromise the durability.

My old Bell rack mounts were disintegrating, and these slid right onto the 1" bars after I removed the rack end caps. The red plastic is hard, so hopefully they don't damage/scratch the bike tubes. The black straps are silicone/rubber, so they seem like they'll be easy to use and secure.Better than spending $75 on a new rack!

The plastic on these is very soft, bolts strip out if tightened too much and entire cradle splits in half after a few uses, especially in warm weather.
