The only thing I would change is making the magnet on the pen a little stronger, since it can be tricky for the pen to hold onto the beads sometimes. Other than that, it’s been a great toy, and our boys spend lots of time with it. We definitely recommend it for young kids!

**Q: Do the magnets come out ?**
A: Yes, they can. Unfortunately the first time it got dropped, some of the little balls popped out the side.  Kids drop things, it happens. I think with a small screw in the center of each side, it would be great.

We got this magnetic color and number maze for our boys (ages 4, 3, and 2), and they really enjoy playing with it! It’s a great way for them to practice their colors while also working on fine motor skills. The only thing I would change is making the magnet on the pen a little stronger, since it can be tricky for the pen to hold onto the beads sometimes. Other than that, it’s been a great toy, and our boys spend lots of time with it. We definitely recommend it for young kids!

I bought this for a 2 year old and he had absolutely no problem working it. The magnetic is plenty strong to move the balls. His older sister who is 4 was able to also use it with the colors and counting activities. The board is a solid wood and there is no way that will open and release the balls as some reviewers stated. Seems very well built to me.
