This is an amazing toy for the price (under $10 when I got it). Unlike the last Buzz Lightyear that the little one received this one has great mobility which is a must for little boys. Love the fact it has mist/steam that comes out of his jet pack and that the fuel crystal is the water dropper. Would definitely buy even if it wasn’t under $10.

All the toys I have scene come from this movie looked super cheap. Everything is hollowed plastic and just waiting to be in land fill. And these toys are a far cry from the Buzz Lightyear Thinkway Toys made ten years ago that had a wrist communicator, light up wings, working laser and 3 buttons that activated over 50 sayings. That being said, I think this is the best Buzz lightyear toy that has come from these new movies. Now it doesn't have a laser, helmet doesn't open, and no wrist communicator, but it has a really cool jet pack gimmick. You put water in the jetpack with the dropper provided in the package and when you pick up the buzz lightyear with the play button turned to the left, the jetpack will light up and will produce water vapor smoke to simulate exhaust. That is such a cool feature that no other Buzz has done and I will give it props for that. Be warned, when putting the water into the Buzz make sure the play mode button is in the middle to turn it off, otherwise you could risk damaging the toy. If you're not too interested in this version of Buzz I would recommend the $12 Buzz with the same articulation but no play features. But if you can splurge and want this version of buzz lightyear to really feel like a cool toy, this is your best option so far.

Good value for the money makes sounds even after a year of working. Great quality size is great for a child still stands on its own.

The steam action on this toy is really cool and the fact that the wings come out and it looks like both the toys story version of buzz lightyear and the lightyear version . The only part that is disappointing is that it doesn’t say any phrases like I thought it did . It only makes action noises and sounds . Still a great toy and really cool with the steam ! Very well made

This is a real review: My kid loves it and won’t put it down. Buzz has already been thrown off the kitchen table (or he attempted to “fly” according to some parties) and thrown down the stairs (again, “flying”) already within first 2 hrs of getting it delivered and it’s still solid and in 1 piece. Wings pop-out ( a la F-15 😉) and it makes jet sounds while misting the water, which the kid’s never going use that feature lol. 5star all the way.

We bought this as *almost* a gag gift for my husband’s childhood best friend as a replacement for the original one that was gifted and ruined within 36hrs of Xmas back in 1995. The immediate understanding of the sentiment, the joy at having a replacement, and then the giggles and excitement as he played with it and found all of the cool gadgets, gizmos, and features was phenomenal. High recommend for anyone who enjoys Buzz
