Worked great for my 1.5 ton ac unit. Cools my 1200 sq ft home. Bought all the supplies and had a certified HVAC technition but in my home. Had no problems using this and house is now cool. Like the copper line look as well. Well worth it

Item was great (exactly as described), but I had to return. Seller was VERY accommodating!!

I had to install a new condensing unit for my house. Since the unit came with R410A and my old system was R22, the oils were different so I had to change the coil and the line set as well. As an HVAC tech I have use Mueller Line Sets many times over the years, so this is what I wanted for my house.

Insulation thickness is only 3/8" which was not indicated in their description. 1" thick insulation is recommended on the low side of my system (as was the old system it replaced 31 years ago) and I will need to augment to get the needed R value. Check your.spec's and get a lineset with the insulation thickness required. If 3/8" is ok, no problem with this item.

I saved a good deal of money getting this line set from here. The small line was in perfect condition and worked fine for the install. The bigger suction line had a kink towards the end and some damage and flat spots on the insulation. I didn't need the full 25 feet so the kink was not a problem for me. A little tape fixed the damage to the insulation and I have had no problem with condensation. I had these professionally installed on my condenser and coil and have had zero problems with them. I installed everything else myself, but I don't have the ability or equipment to braze the lines correctly. Minus one star just because the suction line could have been in better condition and could have been a problem if I needed the extra 2 feet of line I lost because of the kink.
