I had a 7 year old that really wanted a phone like her older siblings. I did some research and stumbled upon the G MEE. Upon reading about it, I thought this will be perfect and figured let's go for it. I ordered it and wasn't disappointed, she loves that she can get cool apps like her siblings and with certain apps she can even talk to family and friends face to face. Best invention ever for young kids. Love it!!! We had an issue with charging at first and the G MEE customer service team was great at helping us resolve it.

Don't waste your money on this. I bought two of them and they didn't last long. One of them will not charge and the other one will not charge fully. Neither of them will turn on. These are absolute junk.

My 9- and 7-year-olds were begging for phones, which was not happening—until we found the G-Mee Play 3 Smartplayer. This has been the perfect compromise. It works just like a smartphone but without a cellular plan, which is exactly what we wanted. I love that there’s no camera, so there’s no picture taking or photo sharing to worry about. The kids can use the internet when connected to WiFi, and when they’re off WiFi their downloaded games still work, which is great for car rides and outings. The battery life is excellent for its intended use, and one of my favorite features is the parent controls. I can set time limits on all the apps, so they’re not on the device all day long. That alone makes this worth it. We also use a messenger app that works on WiFi, which allows my kids to message me when they’re at a friend’s house or when they’re home and I’m at work. It gives us peace of mind without opening the door to a full smartphone. They absolutely love their “phones,” and best of all—they’ve completely stopped asking for real smartphones. Highly recommend for parents looking for a safe, controlled alternative.

Our kids have been asking for phone for quite a while, so this year we decided we'll find something that could ACT as a phone. I came across these read some of the reviews and they seemed ok. So we took and chance and we were impressed. I mean no they aren't phones but to a 6 and 8 year old they are and that made us happy. They can play games! To be honest that's all they wanted "phones" for lol. But it's great tho, has parental controls tou can adjust to your preference, and you also add apps that allow your kids to talk and message with family and friends thru wifi.

The device was great but I ended up having the screen go black on me after my amazpn return window. G-mee did a great job and replaced the play 3 no problem.

Specifically chose this for my daughter to listen to music on only because it says it is NOT a smart phone in the description. In fact it is fully capable to be a smart phone which gave her false hope of having one when we decided already she isn’t old enough for one. We decided to not set it up as one but the disappointment at Christmas it caused her was really unnecessary. We had to explain that the description lied and had to say we can only keep it if it isn’t a phone which was just a whole lot of drama that could have been avoided if the truth was told in the first place. The phone works well and she does enjoy listening to music on it.

Great sound from better quality earbuds The stuff they have is lame at best They sound like they are a little bit too far away from your ears and the sound is not as bad but they are what they put in the box I don’t know if it’s capable of being a cell phone no dialing app or anything like that on the phone but google voice works great

Although this is not an adult phone, I thought it would last my 5 yr old for awhile but it didn't. Not happy with my purchase.

I got these for Christmas for my kids. It is easy to use and the parental functions allow me to give permissions on what apps are added and put time limits on the different apps if needed. It also allows me to control the time on the device as well so that they aren't spending all day on it. Kids love it and have connected their bluetooth headphones to listen to their music. Great first step before smart phones.

Have brought 2 of these players 12 months apart for children. It is easy to use and uses google play which is free to setup. The parental controls allows me to ensure my children are safely using the device while giving them some independence. They connect easily to the wifi or hotspots when out. Can use plug in headphones or wireless so no problems. Love this little player because my children think it looks like a phone but can add difference apps and use for videos, music or games.

Was meant to be new but came open, broken, used, missing operating parts and filthy P.....d off

Great unit. Easy to use. Parent controls for Turing in and off usage time great. And the fact I’ve set up for password to be entered before any additional apps are added.

Bought 2 x G Mees for Grandchildren for Christmas 2024. Discovered one G Mee would not boot up on the Friday before Christmas. Sent an email to the company at 4pm that Friday afternoon, had a reply within half an hour that they would have another one in Express Post next morning and I should receive it following Tuesday in time for Christmas on Wednesday. It arrived in time and no issues with the product so far. Still setting them up with Kids Spotify etc but all looks good so far. Can't thank them enough for their prompt caring service. 10 stars from me.
