Vitamix Tritan Copolyester Containers with Wet Blade and Lid

I've owned a Vitamix blender 5200 for years with no problems. I've used it for making smoothies, sauces and even chunky salsas (pulse on and off 5 or 6 times). It is easy to clean and rust free. Very simple to use. The blender came with a 64 oz. container and does not fit under my standard sized counter. If I don't keep an appliance on my counter, I am less likely to lug it out to use, so I sat the motor unit and the container next to each other on the counter. Not a clean look. I went to the the product site and noticed I could purchase smaller containers. Decided to check Amazon and was surprised to find it for a little less. I ordered it and it came the next day! Now, I can keep the unit intact on my counter under the cabinet. The 48 oz. is a perfect size for everyday use and comes with a tamper. Note: Blender with 48 oz. container won't fit under the cabinet with the tamper attached to the lid, but does fit with the lid and cap in place. Very happy with my purchase:)

This is the real deal Vitamix brand only in the smaller 48 oz size. It's somewhat shorter than the original 64 oz container so it just makes it under the kitchen cabinet If I store the lid upside down in the top and that's a big plus for me. It's just a better size for making juice drinks or smoothies for one or two people. Easier to handle and washes out easier than the big one. It's pricey but same quality as original. I wish this had been the original size included for my use. It's a bit wider around the blades at the bottom which makes it a little easier go scrap peanut butter and stuff our of there with the long spatula. I've heard complaints that the handle is not rubberized like the 64 oz. That's not an issue for me.

A brand new item delivered in the original Vitamix packaging. Works wonderfully! For most recipes, it is the perfect size. An added benefit is that it fits underneath standard height cabinets when attached to the Vitamix, which is very convenient. I use the Vitamin almost daily and with the 64 ounce container, I had to remove the container to slide under the cabinets after use, or store the Vitamix in the pantry and get it back out the next morning. It was shipped with a shorter Tamper which is great. (However, the longer 64 ounce Tamper would work fine as it is tapered and the 48 ounce container has a smaller opening on top compared to the 64 ounce.) I am very pleased with the product. Just the right size!!! Final broke my original container that came with my Vitamix. To be honest, due to our raw water source into our house, I always washed it in the dishwasher. I'm sure that the heat from the dishwasher didn't do it much good, and probably shortened its life span. I really did want to replace it with the original type of container, but the cost was just ridiculous. This one was a bit less so thought I'd give it a chance. The smaller size actually turned out to be just right for my needs. It is smaller, but quite sturdy, obviously made well. The handle turned out being nicer than I had expected as well. I plan on not putting this one in the dishwasher, and expect it to last a long time.

What can I say. It's a Vitamix. Expensive but it works perfectly for my smoothies, sorbets, and soups. I use this or my standard container every single day. It wet chops cabbage and carrots for coleslaw perfectly, too. Replaced my Nutribullit with a Vitamix when it became overtaxed. I liked my Nutribullit but it couldn't do many of the things I wanted to do once I became hooked on emulsification. Juicing too expensive and wasteful. This size fits on the base so I can store the Vitamix on the counter under my cabinets. I needed to keep it handy for daily use. When I need the standard container, I just pop it on.

Terrible fit. I have a pro 750 and this container doesn't even come close to fitting properly. Loose and wobbly. I bought this jar because the newer 64oz low profile container is not as efficient at blending as the old tall container. There is no way I would use this on my pro 750. It would be dangerous. Returning immediately. Fit and finish on all new vitamix products is terrible this jar included. I have contacted vitamix twice about this blender and jar, and they really don't seem to care that their products don't work anymore. It's really to bad. I was really looking forward to using this vitamix blender and container, and I couldn't be more disappointed.

I had been having great difficulty with my old container and the blades. I bought replacement parts and blades for it and it still did not work right. I feared that I'd have to buy a new Vitamix and mine was only 2 yrs old. As a last resort, I bought the new 48 oz blender container and I LOVE it. It was not the Vitamix that was broken, it was the old container even after I'd replaced the parts. The Vitamix works like a charm again. The new container is much easier to clean and to get out the contents. I LOVE the smaller size. Makes it easier for portion control as well.

Our Vitamix is used several times a day by a variety of ages in my house and we have owned it for several years. After our old container was looking rather worn and the connection on the base of the pitcher was getting somewhat stripped we decided to purchase this under the cabinet size model as a replacement. I do like the size of this container as my Vitamix with pitcher attached can now be slid under the cabinet unlike our old, taller model. Just like our old one this one is a nice, thick container BUT the lid drives me nuts! The lid needs to be pushed/snapped into place and this is not easily accomplished. It feels like it has to be in the perfect position to slide/snap fully in place and the perfect position is not easy to find. My 9 year old and 11 year old used to easily be able to use our old Vitamix container but because of the lid issue they generally have to ask for help when using this one. So needless to say, I am disappointed with this container....or at least the lid!

Fantastic purchase. I had a very difficult time with the lids on my old jugs; I went through 2 over the 15 years. This one is so easy to put on. It works well and I am happy I decided to pay more for the original jug. There are few „universal’ ones but I prefer when things fit as they should.

Purchased original Feb. 2017 time to freshen up. Very satisfied.

this is my third container, I love vitamix. It's perfect for small batches.

Purchased via the new & used section for $99, description said in good condition and not much else. Was only missing the original box, came with the tamper and manual. The level or scrutiny that gave it a good rating is higher than I would be expected and it's appreciated. It's essentially brand new and the marks I can find are very difficult to see and very small. Finally my blender fits under my cupboards!

Needed to replace our container order from Amazon it arrived we cleaned it tested it out only to realize a gasket or ceiling ring was missing from the factory. It leaked water out. The bottom was given an absolute nightmare return through Amazon using Purolator courier almost a month later and a dozen phone calls back-and-forth. They finally refunded our money, but it was an absolute nightmare. The fit was as expected. It’s an OEM part it worked spinning the blade easily. It was a typical Vitamix product, but it had a factory flaw. I don’t think I’d order through Amazon again after going through what we did.
