Looks great in our Kitchen
I ordered these online and assumed as the description said storage jars that they were ceramic so slighlt disappointed to discover they are in fact metal. However they look good and the lid has a good sealThey look beautiful in my kitchen. I just think they are a bit overpriced 🤷♀️

They look great but one big problem....
This is an impressive-looking set of three metal storage jars. Although made out of folded tin, they are well-finished and a good size. The gold-finished bases are separate parts which have been individually screwed onto the bottom of each jar - and the lids have a tiny raised 'pip' on their edges to stop the lids falling off if carelessly handled. However, in use in our kitchen for just one week, we discovered the massive drawback to these containers, which is that the lids are NOT air-tight. The lids on our set are so loose that they rattle around and, although they appear to make a good seal onto the open jars, air can freely enter and spoil the contents. In six days in our normal (not too steamy) kitchen, the sugar had a damp crust form on its surface inside its container - and the instant coffee granules stored in another, had already started to show signs of dissolving and dampness. If you want a set of three very attractive kitchen containers, then these are great (although at quite a steep price point)... if you want air-tight jars to keep the contents fresh, look elsewhere.

Nice looking cannisters
These cannisters go well with the colour of my kitchen units. They are a good size with lids that are easy to remove. The silver base is plastic and the cannister should only be wiped clean. They have a hive type pattern that would match up with some of Morphy Richards hive range. I'm pleased with them.

Looks great from afar, looks cheap up close.
From far away the tins definitely looks the part! They give off those elegant classic Harrods vibes and the green colour is simply stunning. The green/gold combo also stands out nicely in the kitchen. I love the patterned effect on the outside and the fact that they're quite spacious. One thing that I did also like is that there are 4 discreet rubber stickers at the bottom of each corner (the canisters are square in shape) of each canister and so putting them down on the kitchen counter after picking them up is satisfyingly quiet, and it also means that they grip better and will cause no damage to the counter top.Why then the three star rating? Firstly, the canisters are not airtight and so storing coffee, tea and sugar (as intended by the letters) is not possible because they won't keep fresh and that just defeats the point. Nothing that needs to stay fresh could be kept here. I also didn't expect this at this price point and from the brand which I love. The second niggle for me is that from a closer inspection, the gold paint is inconsistent, patchy towards the edges and is uneven in the lettering so cheapens the overall look of the canisters.I expected better for the price and it's not a set that would be at the top of my list.
