Get a 4” drywall light saw and these will work with absolutely no problems. Nice and bright. Blends well in to ceiling white.

Good Overall Value
I was remodeling the kitchen and decided to go with some recessed lighting to open up the ceiling, as it's replacing fluorescent tube lights.In essence, I only needed 5, but I'm always worried about when and if they go bad, they're no longer available, making them harder to replace. I'd rather swap out the LED portion versus having to redo the whole electrical box connection if I had to move to a different brand in the future. So, this large pack of 12 is a good value compared to some I've seen in the big box stores.Out of the box, the quality looks comparable to others I've seen at other stores. The only drawback is the CRI of 80, which I didn't see before purchasing them. The electric box seems straightforward with push-in wire connectors, and the installation was fairly easy. The last thing was to install the LED panel, and done. Overall, it was a pretty simple install, and it works perfectly.Slight downside. As I mentioned the CRI is >80, and I did notice a slight color cast at the 5000K setting, which I usually use, but I'm assuming most average people won't see the difference. Many people still use warm lighting instead of daylight, and it's now more of a preference than an issue. This cast might eat at me inside, but maybe I'll get over it.
