It could have been slightly smaller since it does not have any stretchiness in the fabric. The fabric is very comfortable. I was looking for something that would not make my head hot in the summer. I cannot keep my hair from going straight and losing any styling I give myself. So, I have been wearing wigs and hats to cover my thinning hair.
