Chipotle Paste 17.6oz/ 500g

The containers for the paste are very sturdy.

Like:Flavor is super. Vastly more convenient than dried chilis and better than canned. Much better than hot sauce in cooking if you like the smokiness. I will try other flavors.Don't like:This is perhaps a niggle: It seems to oxidize on top even in the fridge. Doesn't affect flavor and the oxidation is better than a lot of oil in my opinion.

I first used chipotle chili paste in a Blue Apron recipe and loved the flavor. I wanted to recreate the recipe and purchased this almost a year ago. It definitely matches the flavor from Blue Apron. We use a teaspoon to a tablespoon at a time, and it is has stayed just fine in our refrigerator all this time. I highly recommend this. I know it costs a lot, but price per ounce, it is a terrific value.

I'm from xalapa Veracruz living in Vancouver Washington this just makes me feel at home. I love it! The flavor is amazing, great with all kinds of food from meats to soups, I can't eat with out hot sauce and this is just perfect, get some paste in to a little container add some water dissolve and you are ready to go!! Try it you won't regret I promise!!

Gives chili a kick!

Spicy as heck. Great flavor but use it sparingly.

The jar arrived with a dent. Unfortunately, I opened the jar a little over a month after I purchased it. The contents in the jar were dried out and disgusting. One reviewer said the product reminded her of the Blue Apron chipotle paste, which I crave. I cannot imagine there would be anyone who would rate what I received higher than 1 star. It deserves a lower rating than that.

Fast Shipping got it in two days and got to try it on my Mexican meat ball soup and it was great. I like it spicy but my wife just had a little of it and it was perfect for her so it just depends on the person but a great Chipotle Paste:)
