Does the cat have a name or label on it that actually says "Ziggy"? We have a black cat named Ziggy and if so, this would be great!

Yes! He has his name on the tag. My grandson (15 mos) carries him around. It's adorable with huge cat-like eyes and soft body. I bought him because my grandson wanted to smoosh his black cat and had little chance of that! So, Ziggy is a wonderful stand-in. It was such a hit with my little one. Really distinctive toy.

Is this stuffed kitty appropriate for a kitten, or is it just for kids/humans?

These are really meant for kids. I have two. I also have cats and don’t know that I would give this to a kitten. It does have plastic eyes attached that they might be able to chew off and swallow.
