my 90lb Pit, LOVES these balls.. and they have been lasting for months!! The squeaker is ok, those are lasting a week or two.. but that's better than average for my guy. At $4 a ball in the 4 pack, it's a great deal for a dog that loves a new toy every month .. I give him one at a time, the 4 pack lasts for many months of fun.

I am actually impressed with these balls. Our dog is a very heavy chewer and literally can tear every toy up within a few minutes. I usually buy tennis looking balls from PetSmart that are a little bigger than an actual tennis ball that has a squeaker and they don't last long. After he runs around squeaking them for about 20 minutes he goes in destruction mode. He loves the squeaker but loves to tear the felt off then the ball is destroyed next. They are at least cheap but not really if he goes them so fast. I have to ration them out. I decided to give these balls a try after reading another review that they are good for heavy chewers. He has been playing with these balls for weeks and they are still going strong. None of them have been destroyed. Granted he would prefer the felt ones but my wallet prefers balls that last.

My dog LOVES these balls and barks with excitement when the box arrives. These balls are super durable and a great size that does not allow them to roll under cabinets and sofas.

They are holding up. The little spikes , our pitty box gets her little teeth & some how gets the tips off. They are holding up to our heavy chewers. They are thick but can still be bit down on hard enough to make it squeak. The spikes get tangled in long human hair if you have a baby that gets in your face & insists it’s play time. I hope they are bpa free. They love retrieving them but I do not recommend throwing them hard to catch in their mouths because how hard they are with the spikes. They definitely are NOT soft.

Our two golden-doodles have destroyed many of the chew toys I foolishly invested in. I used to measure their lifespan and durability in a matter of minutes. Shredding toys seemed their delight and specialty. Squeakers were often attacked with spectacular ferocity as if they were tests of canine ingenuity to find ways to get to, swallow, or otherwise destroy the squeaker mechanism. That is until they met these spikey dog balls with attitude. Our girls delight in chasing them down when thrown and have wearied themselves trying to figure out a way to chew through them. These balls have broken the household record for longevity. They've taken a licken and continue to squeak and delight our girls. Which delights us! Safe, great value for the money, cute, and the color has proven tough through heat, rain, lots of aggressive chewing.

I was looking for toys that were durable, that our GSD puppy would like, and that would specifically NOT roll under the sofa every time he swatted at it because I’m tired of moving the couch every 5 minutes to retrieve another toy. This toy went under the couch within 5 minutes of opening the package. He doesn’t seem to enjoy playing with it as much as he does a regular tennis ball, it’s easier to throw far outside IMO (my husband doesn’t notice a difference). It’s not hard or soft, it’s kind of a combination of both with the knobby bumps on the outside. I speculate the bumps are part of what he doesn’t enjoy playing with. He is able to pick it up and carry it easy enough and when he does it squishes just enough for him to carry it, he’s 5 months old by the way. But the bottom line is this will likely become yet another “outside toy” in the sea of outside toys because if not I’ll be constantly fishing it out from under the couch!

These are the best ball or toy purchase I’ve ever made for my XXL, very rough play, heavy chewer yellow lab. He has not been able to destroy even one of these yet loves to play with them daily. His favorite activity is to have someone throw a ball into the pool so he can dive in after it. They float and water does not get inside to destroy the squeaky. He can also bring them back indoors after pool play without me having to worry that he brought in a water filled toy.

These are the perfect size for my German Shepherd/Mal mix. He loves them and they’ve been durable so far. Keep in mind he’s not a heavy chewer so he’s not really testing the balls to the limit.
