Apparently there is more than one one type of screen replacement kit. I originally bought a kit that was just the screen; I needed one that actually would connect to the workings of the phone! This was the kit I ordered once I knew what I wanted/needed. All is fine. My son did the actual replacement. It worked so well he wanted me to give the phone to HIM! Looks as good as new—nice shiny glass cover and works perfectly. I’m keeping it for ME!

Sad because the screen looks good but the top part of the screen don’t work..😞I think it’s defective. I know I installed it right because I’ve probably done this sooooo many times there are about 9 iPhone 6 Plus in this house and I have replace the screen many times prior to this one. My review is late because I bought this screen and held onto it so I can change the screen when my daughter returned from vacation where she cracked her screen.

Touch wasn't great for a week or two, then one day it made the phone go into a reboot loop. Now it just says connect to Itunes. This cheap screen shorted something out and caused a fault. Bought a new Iphone now, but would have been worth it to spend the extra $20 and get a quality replacement. Customer support is awful and they send you some kind of nonsense about what to try to do to fix it.

This screen worked perfectly! This isn’t a task for those unfamiliar with electronics and ribbon cables, but the instructions were perfect. I would recommend this to someone who is comfortable breaking down electronics, but if in doubt take your phone to a professional.As for shipping, Amazon needs to get with the Prime promises and let customers know well before the day of delivery that it’s not going to be on time. Past 3 cell phone part orders, VERY LATE. Don’t order if you are counting on it being on time.

Purchased for replacement of a cracked screen. Install of the new screen was with out a hitch. Once everything was in place and the phone powered back up the screen came off as it should but the touch screen did not work. I re disassembled the phone and looked at the ribbons and pins on both the motherboard side and the screen side with no visual damage. Re assembled with the same issue, still have the inability to utilize the touch screen.

my screen has a burn spot on the top right corner! I can not return it since it's already installed on the phone, it's totally ripped off. Don't waste your time and money!

Bought this screen to repair a friends iPhone 6 Plus and when I finished the repair touch didn’t work on most of the display only parts of edge worked with touch I don’t want to say don’t buy I probably got unlucky or I did something wrong during the repair process but everything else about the screen was good i liked that it included some parts to help with then repair for people who don’t have the tool set already also one I should of done was test the screen before doing the repair

I received the item and waited for my son to fix my phone. Only because he is a genius did it get fixed! The kit did not include ANY instructions and parts were missing. He had to U tube the instructions and had to find available parts at my house to complete the task. Also, touch screen is not available on this part.
