I do enjoy the occasional color by number book and this one is a 5 star coloring book in all ways.The paper is a very good, heavy grade, the pages are perforated for easy removal and are single-sided. The book is well set-up and even has a color chart in the back of the book that flips out for you to be able to see while you are coloring any of the pictures. And of course, the pictures are all in true Jeanette Wummel style, adorable characters and in this book they are set in fun underwater themes.All together, this is a great book, for colorists from beginner to advanced and I'm very happy with my purchase! The color key has 36 colors and they are named to make it easier to match up to colored pencils or markers. Pages are single sided and perforated. The paper is not too thin, but if using markers may bleed thru a bit. Pictures are varied and aren't too simple nor too difficult. Most I think could be done in one sitting.
