Visions of America: A History of the United States, Volume One (2nd Edition)

I am currently renting the book for the semester. I didn't receive the book in the greatest quality which is why I gave it four stars.Other than that it has been a great source of information and my teacher isn't using the "My History Labs" so I have able to save $90 dollars by renting the book that doesn't come with it instead of buying it new with something I don't need.

I was required to take American History as part of my degree. I am 64 years old, and it has been almost 50 years since my last US history course. I am enjoying this textbook. It offers different visions of events in history, discussing various interpretations of events. It is understandable and moves along quickly. There are lots of pictures. The Kindle version does not contain an access code for the online content, and I purchased it at the Pearson website, as my course required it. I am happy I can carry the book on my Kindle. I am taking my course online and I appreciate being able to take the book anywhere.

It works great, but kind of bad with my touch screen laptop. Kept taking me to random pages, though nothing is wrong with the actual product it was a bit hard to get used to. I'll probably just go with a hard copy next time, but it did the job well for what I used it for!

Good book to follow. Bummed I bought the online access code and didn't need to but was goof for an online class I had that didn't have a great professor so it was good I had this book.

Purchased for an online history classPros: Much cheaper than buying from the school(over 50%), includes my history lab.Cons: Only small grip some of the more detailed pictures are over saturated due to the book being black and white.

The book arrived within the 2 day Prime shipping window. It is in good condition for a used book. Great way to save money on a text that will not be in my son's college major.

Very interesting and informative book. The book was gently used without any markings and the price was great, compared to the college bookstore.
