This is a great hose, light weight construction while also Sturdy. The fittings are Aluminum (to avoid lead in brass fittings so it's drinkable), so don't cross thread while connecting. 2 Caveats. Mine was shipped with TWO garden hose washers (back to back) in the female end. This really shouldn't be necessary - but if you take one out, be aware the one left in the female may be Backwards, you need to reverse it so the little threads are Facing what you're screwing the hose onto, not the flat surface of the washer. #2 - this hose must be LINE LAID to avoid kinks. (All kinking is due to user error...) Like all heavy hoses and cords, this hose was manufactured in a uniform, non-torsion (twisted) process. When you're hand coiling or uncoiling the hose, you have to add or subtract a half twist for every revolution. (If you're using a reel, and you rolled it up straight, just unroll it straight.) There are 2 white lines running the length of the hose with the brand and size, as long as these are always up (or down, or the same position) this hose absolutely will not kink. If you don't pay attention to this, you'll get kinks because the construction is light (this is good, who wants to lug a heavy hose even without even water in it!) The hose will resist kinking to a slight degree if you're not paying attention, but Line Laid is Hose 101 for any hose. And the low price - Wow!!

Good quality and has no kinks. It doesn’t leak or have any shrinkage. Easy to install and store over the winter.

This is a good heavy Duty hose. I like it. Only issue is when it gets cool or cold it's pretty stiff to wrap up.

Within a few months it had developed a sticky residue on the outside of the entire hose. The residue attracts every bit of dust, dirt and pollen, and nothing you do can clean it. I have other hoses that have lasted for 10 years without any issues. I've never had a hose do this before. It's gross to handle. This product is a total rip-off.

I wanted a hose to use for filling/emptying our hot tub. Prior hoses were smaller diameter and were always kinking and restricting the water flow. This is a nice heavy duty hose, that is light in weight but sturdy. Much easier to move it around. The end connections are well made.

I used to extend as designed,, much stronger than a regular hose which after a while failed,, this one has been on the job for several months and I have confidence in it
