It is labeled TARVOL TAR-1038062.This is a US wall plug powered Soldering iron, AC 120V 60W and it is UL rated.It heats up in about three minutes and is ready to use. It works well for larger circuit board work such as incoming power wires but is too big for most other component work such as DIP ICs or surface mount work.The cord is 4 feet long, and polarized but not grounded (two prong) so there is no static protection provided.The stand is a simple stamped item but is works well enough for the purpose.As with all soldering irons the tip must be tinned when first used, then properly cleaned and re-tinned during use. Improper use will result in accelerated failure, this is not the fault of the iron.The tip is secured by the Phillips screw near the tip of the iron. The tip provided is about 3” long and .228” (5.8MM) in diameter. It can be reworked several times if needed. Any 60W replacement tip should work if it has the same diameter shaft.There is nothing on the retail package that indicates a lifetime warranty as the the description states. Nor can I find this information on the Tarvol website but I bought the item from Tarvol thru Amazon so I'll trust the warranty is there if I ever need it.Overall it's a nice iron with a low price tag. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Ehhhh *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2021* It was $8.. DONT expect much. It disintegrated fast. No temperature knob obviously so don’t expect accuracy. It was cheap so I lowered my expectations and wasn’t hurt. It’s fine… I’d never buy it again. I'm not an electronics guy by any stretch, but I think it's fair to say I can tell when something is made for pennies. I'm not sure that you're able to get new tips for it easily, because I haven't been able to find anything for it.It's a fine soldering iron that will last you a project or two (my tip is almost completely gone) but that is all it will do. If you've got a kit or a small repair to do, this will do that.
