Fit great in our 2013 Ram Slt (6ft bed). Has straps that have a bunch of slack so you have room to adjust left and right and fit in a wider bed if needed. Very sturdy when strapped in with the provided straps. We've had this for a couple years, when we got it some of the poles had been damaged in shipping (not a common problem so don't be turned off!) but we were able to use them regardless and our dog loves it. The lead that comes with it is awesome too and keeps him mobile but gives us the peace of mind that he can't hop out the back (he's got a harness with a hook spot underneath which is perfect that keeps him from getting too tangled).The customer service part comes in just recently when the poles finally got to the point of being unusable (due to the damage from shipping eventually leading to their demise) but we emailed the company and their immidiate reaction when I explained was to ask which ones we needed and for our address so they could send us new ones. Awesome company and whenever I need something for the dog I'll be checking what they have that might work first, definitely going to be repeat customers! Can't recommend enough! Thanks guys!

We have two fairly large dogs, so we purchased two of these for my Ram 2500. If you are like me and do not like the look of a cap, or maybe can't afford one, then this is the perfect solution. When I examined the parts prior to assembly, I was impressed with the quality of the materials. The grey fabric is very tough and it reflects the sunlight rays away rather than absorb it. (I looked at another truck bed canopy, from a different supplier, and it was black which would absorbs the sunlight and make it hot for the dogs! Hello?! Does this make sense?! Not to mention is was more expensive and not portable like this one.) The mesh is great and not only provides great ventilation (obviously), but also it also semi blocks the sunlight and provides a bit of shade as well. I could tell that they used a quality and durable pad, which is covered by the same tough, sunlight reflecting gray fabric as the roof. It feels like a thick yoga mat inside. I also liked that the tent poles that support the roof can slide out and be replaced if they break. The instructions are very easy to read and follow. It is a great design and very simple to assemble. It took me only 10 minutes! The metal tubing gives it a very strong stucture. I pre-fit them in the truck and I was very satisfied. They cinch down very tightly and were very secure. The next test will be to see if they withstand highway speeds on our 8 hour drive to go camping. Another review stated that they do. This plus knowing how strong and secure they were in the truck, I have no doubt that they will. Having said this, I will be sure to post an update to let you know my own experience. So far this is an amazing product and I would 100% recommend it. I also want to mention that they have excellent customer service. Unfortunately, and by no fault of theirs, the box had a small hole on one of the corners, and the dog leash/teather was missing. I emailed them about it on a Sunday, and first thing Monday morning, they emailed me back to apologize and let me know that they already shipped a replacement. Wow!!! As a side note, this is a very affordable solution to giving your dog(s) NEEDED shade while traveling. DO NOT let your dog(s) suffer in the hot sun! I had no idea this product was out there, but now that I do and now that I own it, I will be spreading the word. Especially if I see a dog panting in the back of a truck without any shade you jerk!

This thing is great. I got it and immediately tried it. I put it in the back of my Tacoma and put 2 dogs (85 and 45 lbs) back there. It's perfect for them.The canopy is sturdy and made of quality materials. Good seams and straps. I used it on the highway with zero issues or budge. The dogs were happy and had a nice shady place to lay. We went through a storm and it kept them dry.I'm very impressed and happy with this purchase.To fold it down you have to pretty much take it all apart, so be prepared for that if you want to store it somewhere flat. It's easy to set up/take apart, though.If you are co sidering it, take it. This might even work to keep luggage or bags dry if showers threaten. We'll see.

This is a terrific pet shelter for a dog on a long trip. We took our dog in our truck on a trip through the desert in the fall. The shade was much nicer for him than just being in the sun all day while driving. The padding under his feet helped, too. My only complaints are that one of the hooks that goes under the lip of the truck bed was sewn in backwards so the strap had to be twisted to get it to fit. Then, during the trip, one of the hooks (a different one) came off the strap. I had to put it back on and tie a knot in the strap to get it to work. It now functions, but it isn't pretty and probably won't hold forever. Despite these problems, it is still a wonderful addition to traveling with our dog.

I purchased this a few weeks ago in preparation for a road trip from California to Colorado. I didn't want my dog to be stuck in the elements while traveling. This went together very easily and is VERY well made. Heavy duty construction and fantastic design make for an awesome product. This fits nicely in my 2016 Chevy Colorado LT crew cab bed. My dog weighs about 100lbs and he fits in it with plenty of room to spare. The bottom pad is perfect to protect his feet from the hot bed liner. It's been up to speeds over 70mph and barely budges. I highly recommend this product! Oh and also it arrived much faster than anticipated! AND it's made in the USA! Cant beat that! Thanks Bushwacker for making such a fantastic product!!UPDATE! This made it to Colorado and back with no issues! We drove through snow, lightning storms, crazy wind, and torrential rain with no problems at all! My previous review holds true - well made and I highly recommend!
