The light is sold with the bracket that attaches to the post. Everything you need to use this product is included in the price. **Q: are they waterproof** A: They are at least water resistant. Have them attached to our pool cage for three months now and with issues, This solar light is the best I've ever purchased and will not hesitate to buy again. (We have six around the pool) **Q: Is the aluminum scratched or marked when you pull off the light?** A: I put one on and then removed it to start over and it did not scratch my post. Im not sure if the age factor of the cage would affect that or not. My pool cage is only 2 years old. **Q: What is the wattage equivalent of 10 lumens?** A: Not sure but the lights suck and the manufacturer refuses to stand behind their product. Neighbor reported no issues with these (they had them for a year), and the lights were bright and lovely. Despite some negative reviews, I ordered 8 of these. Delivery was quick and as expected. Put them up (took all of 5 minutes to install), but two of the eight failed to light that evening. I called customer service, left a message, and received an immediate call back. Two replacement heads arrived via FedEx the next day. Replacement worked properly. If you ask me, that’s good customer service. UPDATE AFTER 9 MONTHS: 3 of the 8 lights I purchased have stopped working I checked the batteries and there fine. One of the lights now will only work when its daylight outside. 9/17/19 update after one year only 4 of the 8 lights are working, one of them only comes on when its daytime. I will be sending all 8 lights back to the seller not looking for a refund but just to let them know about how cheap there product is...
