Purchased for N64 emulation with a Pi4 running both Retropie and Retroarch.Lighter and slightly cheaper build then an original N64 controller, but for the bundle of two controllers for the price, they work excellent and perform well with any games I have utilized them for.Kids love them as well.Recommended buy.

I wasn't expecting much, I just thought it'd be cool to play n64 games on pc with a proper n64 controller. Got it out of the box and started clicking and thumb sticking. I was immediately pleasantly surprised to find it to feel as nice if not better than an original OEM controller. Once I got a chance to actually try it out on my super-jank windows vista lappy, I can confirm. Darn good controller. I played for hours. It was awesome. I'm excited to try out the 2nd controller with some splitscreen action next time I have the opportunity.

Would rate a 4.5/5 if I could - Pleasantly surprised with how well these worked. The feel of the buttons is really close to the actual N64 controllers. The button press is a little longer than the original and makes a small click when pressed but it doesn't seem to affect performance at all. The joystick is tight with decent resistance and is only a little bit less sensitive than an original which is more than can be said for most aftermarket controllers. They do feel a little light in the hands compared to OG's but it's not really a bad thing. My only real complaint and the only thing holding it back from being a 5 star review is that they do not support rumble packs at all. I tried original rumble and hyper packs and they just don't work, but for the price and all other functionality considered you can't go wrong with these.

Getting ahold of them was a bit more difficult than simply contacting seller they have a bot chat which leads to amazon chat associates. It is a bit problematic but through amazon they will contact seller. So you can get through and I imagine many sellers have it set up the same way. I found this annoying but again it isnt on them as many likely have this setup and it isnt specific to them by any means.My issue was one remote looked perfect and worked one looked perfect but didn't work. After I could actually talk to the seller it was all rectified fast and my controller that didnt work out was replaced.So when customer service on their end is reached they have really good customer service if there is an issue. I doubt its common place that one remote is a dud which is bound to happen with any product once in a while so nothing against them that it happened. Just my luck it was me lol. What is important to take from my review is that if something is wrong go through the channels ask to contact the seller from amazon associate and the customer service for this company will take care of it no problem. Nice and polite rep and helped me quickly.

after plugging in it worked just fine, then it made this disconnect sound from windows and would not work again. I investigated further and it appeared that a factory defect caused the main controller chip to short and ruin the whole thing just sad because everything felt pretty nice button, joystick, etc. But lazy quality assurance sent in a broken controller.

Me ha gustado la calidad de los materiales, lo pude configurar muy bien (aunque una buena configuración depende el emulador), lo único es que a uno de los controles se le siente como un tornillo suelto por dentro, sin embargo, funciona muy bien hasta el momento.En la configuración parece que cambia el A por el B pero al final funciona como debe ser (El A en el A y el B en el B, todo depende del emulador, recomiendo el Rosalie)

The controller works great until the thumbstick flies off. I usually get a few months out of these, but this one only lasted 6 days. The plastic used for the thumb stick is way too fragile. They do give you extra thumbsticks, but unless you're using an incredibly strong epoxy it'll just keep popping off. The replacement they sent me had screws missing and needed to be repaired before use. That one only lasted about 6 days as well before the thumbstick started acting up (see 2nd pic). Left on the control stick actually registered as down-left. Really throws off your game! Don't recommend these.

I rate this 3 stars because I can't comment on how It works because i cannot use them. It was my fault for not realizing that this is USB only. I still have the original N64. Useless to me but looked like the real thing.

Si le doy 5 estrellas porque es igual al original. De los que mencionan que está muy frágil y los materiales dejan mucho que desear es porque nunca jugaron con los originales. Ademas de un plus , he probado en la Nintendo Switch y los detecta.

We bought these controllers for a kid's birthday party in 2019. It's three years later. They still work after light use over that time.If the Windows n64 emulator works properly (that's a big if) they're great.I've also used them with the HID interface for pygame programming and they work well. My 11 year old is into Python programming and they're well suited for input as an HID compatible device. I'm sure they'll be used for various things for years to come (none of them gaming :)

These controllers work amazing which honestly surprised me because of the price being so reasonable.I have never owned an n64 or a real n64 controller so I cannot comment on how they compare to the real deal. I have been using these for emulating n64 games through retroarch and they've been responsive and the stick works fine for smaller more precise movements. All of the buttons feel good to press, they're not loose or sticky or anything.One issue I found was related to software but not the controller itself. I opened up a website to test the gamepad inputs. I noticed that the stick would hit full tilt in games at about 50% of its tilt range. For example mario would run at 50% stick tilt.This required me to adjust settings in retroarch. I adjusted the input controls to 0.7 sensitivity in the main menu. In the emulator quick menu options, I adjusted it to 150 sensitivity. This made the stick feel even better and more precise. Now I was able to hit full speed more towards the end range of the stick which freed up more room for more precise movements.I have had no issues with this after 30ish hours of play.

These controllers both work great. I haven't had any issues. The general feel is a bit lighter than the original. Like the plastic has a bit of a cheaper feel but only ever so slightly, and it hasnt had any impact on the performance of the controller itself.The joystick and buttons move great, and havent come loose yet, though Im not a heavy player, so that might be a different story for someone who plays several hours a week.I rate these controllers a 4 out of 5. I would do a 4.5 if i could tho. The .5 of a star deduction would only be because of the chealer plastic feel, but all in all the performance itself gets a 5.

All I have to say is they actually work, I'm running linux and have ordered a similar controller from a different company. For the same price I received a gray paperweight, totally depressing and cheaply made upon disassembly. These blue controllers however instantly are recognized on my machine and would probably work fantastically on windows aswell. I've played a lot of Mario Kart with my friends with these and I'm considering ordering another set to have 4.
