Great Travel Towel
Very happy with the size and quality and they dried quickly. We needed towels for a sailboating trip and had very little packing space to spare. I almost bought microfiber towels before remembering that I hated that fabric on my skin. These were perfect.

Love it!
Nice bright color. Love the size and that it is quick drying. I will probably use these towels from now on and give my house guests the regular towels. My daughter used it and loved it too so I had to buy her one.

Lovely
Lovely pestemal with colors exactly as shown . Design is beautiful as is the weaving . It is a very blue turquoise so if you are looking for more of a green hued color this is not it. Its exactly as pictured - maybe slightly bluer even as the white background especially makes it appear brighter. Nice nonetheless.

But it seems this brand and item sell at Nordstrom for double the price and the quality is nice and it's pretty
The shipping for this item takes way too long (one month), so I cancelled it. But it seems this brand and item sell at Nordstrom for double the price and the quality is nice and it's pretty. I give 3stars for the shipping time.

Plenty of great uses
This pestemal lives up to its do-it-all description. As per directions, I washed this twice before putting it into use, and I am glad I did. After removing from the shipping box, this item was a bit stiff and rough. After a couple of washings, it is incredibly soft and lightweight. So far it has been used as a baby blanket, a beach chair cover, a towel, a lap blanket, and a shawl. It is the perfect size to be used for many things. I find myself wishing that this was available in larger sizes, like one to fit a king sized bed, as it is the perfect weight for summertime. It makes me tempted to purchase a few of these in the same color and sew them together to make my own king sized quilt. As for durability, this towel barely shrank (being 100% cotton shrinkage wasn't a shocker) or bleed color when washed per directions (cool water, tumble dry low). It will wrinkle if left in the dryer, so if you plan to use this for a beach cover-up or sarong, make sure to remove it immediately. A splash of coffee was easily removed from this with stain treatment spray, as was baby formula. With each subsequent wash and dry, this pestemal only gets softer and softer. It's hard to stop myself from wanting to snuggle up in this and take a nap. As for use as a towel after a bath or swim, while it seems too thin to be of much use, it is incredibly absorbent and air dries very quickly. After using typical looped weave bath towels, it did feel a little odd using this. I felt like I was using a tablecloth instead of a bath towel. Weirdness aside, I did prefer how well this towel worked and its large size. It is too costly an option to consider replacing our bath towels with this type, but I can definitely see purchasing a couple to take on vacation or trips with you in lieu of car blankets, picnic blankets, beach towels, beach coverups, bath towels, sweaters for cool evenings, and more as it would save a lot of room and weight in your luggage. With airline baggage fees being what they currently are, buying and packing a couple of these wonders could save you enough in fees to pay for themselves in just one trip.

Super Absorbency and Shrinkage!
After the 1st wash and following the recommended instructions, the towels have shrunk 6" in length and 2" in width. There was also an excessive amount of lint. On the other hand, I love the product absorbency that is better than that of the famous bamboo towels that I have been using for more than a decade. I also love how compact the towels are. It makes them great as beach towels for carry-on travelling. I am keeping the towels, I am just disappointed that they shrunk so much.UPDATE (02-09-18):For the scientist in me, I continued my experiment with washing the towels in cold water, as before but completely skipping the dryer this time. Here are the amazing size observations:Original size: 70" X 38"After washing in cold water, like drying ONLY: 66" X 38" (Length shrinkage: 4", no width shrinkage)..After washing in cold water, partially dried in the drier on low: 64" X 36" (Length shrinkage: 6", 2" width shrinkage).BOTTOM LINE: These towels shrink after wash, regardless of the method of frying. Drying on low in the dryer increases the length shrinkage by 2" in length and width.
