When I first received the product, I couldn't get it to work. Not being the most technologically adept person, I figured it was me. After others couldn't get it to work either, I reached out to the company.They were very responsive and had me try a couple things which didn't get the unit to function. After we realized it was a faulty unit, they immediately sent a replacement.The new unit worked great and is a nice addition. The multiple USB-A ports make it nice for connecting an external keyboard, mouse and external hardrive. The HDMI end allows for my external monitor so I can use the laptop with a complete workstation at either work or home. Plus, the price is at the right point.The unit is what it is, however it's the service I received from the company that gets me to highly recommend buying this product. We don't get much good service from companies anymore, and my hard earned dollars will go to the ones that provide that.

It's durable, easy to use, and the size is good too. It's used for a laptop for college and it does amazingly, I highly recommend it! It's not that expensive either, and the shipping was great, it came in perfect condition and right on time.

Easy to use, very helpful on the go cause it is small, and doesn't take space in my opinion! I will say I wish it came with a case so I don't ruin the wire trying to store it in my bag.

I am always a little nervous when I buy an "electronic" accessory. However, this product is phenomenal! It is GREAT quality and matches the tone of my laptop. Have not had ANY issues at all! Highly recommend for all of your USB needs!

This was an inexpensive way to work around the usual Apple things they feel they have to change for some unknown reason. In downloading files from my dying iMac to a jump drive and going to upload them to my new MacBook Pro, I discovered they had changed the port. Why?? At any rate, this little gadget did the trick and I didn’t have to spend a lot of money in the process. Otherwise I’m always happy with my Apple products.

I bought this usb hub thinking that it would be average or sub-par.... I was wrong! It didn't lie about the 5 GBPS data rate (I HATE when sellers lie) it comes with its own full-size SD and microSD card slots, as well as an additional female usb-c to replace the one it occupies. No drivers needed for my 2019 macbook pro. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it has been very reliable. When you sum it up with the price of the product (cheaper than most) I would highly recommend this to anyone who's new to the USB-C world!

But I’m so glad I spent my money on this rather than a $70 apple dongle! Cause it does everything I want it to do.—I know some people came here for the HDMI port, so I have a video showing how it mirrors to my monitor seamlessly and with no lag/flickers. I’ll be honest, at first it did but I guess it was just connecting and it’s all good now. Just give it a couple seconds!!💗 iPad: If you’re an artist/creative using programs such as CSP, Adobe, etc. these apps typically allow you to use short cuts keys. Just connect to your keyboard and it should work :)—-As an artist, this device is sooo helpful. Prior to buying this, I was using a USB-C to USB and it always slowed down my work. Due to having to remove it, wait for my laptop to charge, and then plug it back in again. I regret not getting this sooner. Don’t be like me, buy it!

This is my 2nd edit to this review. Original problem has been fixed and everything works great on this device. I have to say the team at Lention has superb customer service. They helped resolve the issue I had with their device and went above and beyond in ensuring I was satisfied with the product. Im changing my rating to a 5 star, they did everything they could to help and Im blown away by the care for their customers. I highly recommend doing business with this company. Ill leave my initial review below incase others experience the same issue. If I may provide a tip to anyone with the same issue. Try plugging in a power supply and hdmi to the adaptor before plugging into ipad.Original review: I Initially gave this 2 stars because the hdmi connection wasnt working with my ipad pro. It still isnt working, however, i believe its more an apple/ ipad issue and not the adaptor. I have since tried it with my samsung phone and the hdmi port works just fine. I Bought this specifically so I could use the HDMI to TV ipad connection with a USBC charge pass through. My other intended use was to plug in keyboards, midi controllers USB accessories and SD cards. I can confirm they all work. Except when it came time to extend my Ipad display through the HDMI port. Would not work no matter what I did. Checked every setting possible on ipad and TV. Watched youtube videos and couldn't find a solution. One user said his multi port of different brand didn't work with his ipad either. He proceeded to use a generic hdmi only adapter with no other ports and it worked. I also had access to a simple hdmi only adaptor lacking the charge pass through and other plugins and lo and behold it worked first try. So for whatever reason, the ipad struggles to identify the hdmi port on this multi port adaptor but works no problem with simple adapters. Frustrating because I want an all in one port without needing to carry multiple adaptors. I thought this was the one, I like the sleek design and cable so it doesn't interfere with my case but sadly it does not do what I need it to do when it comes to HDMI.
