The spoons are as advertised—well-crafted, easy to use, and easy to clean. I bought the large spoon individually, but the smaller spoon isn’t sold separately, so I had to buy this set. If you’re thinking of buying the large spoon alone, I recommend getting the set instead because the smaller spoon isn’t available individually. They’re the perfect sizes and very useful—a must-have in the kitchen. I ended up wanting the smaller spoon also for smaller tasks. The larger spoon scoops out about 3-4 cups of food out of a pot or pan. The small spoon scoops out about 1-2 cups. They’re wonderful! Both spoons are a must-have!

I don't know why I'm as old as I am and never had a strainer like this. It's wonderful! I love that it fits in the utensil drawer, you can scoop just about anything out of any pot. I love the long handle, it's sturdy and very easy to use and for the price, it's my new favorite toy!

Yes, it's pretty big, but, Don't let its large size scare you! This skimmer has quickly become an integral tool in my kitchen. As a lifelong maker of bone and other broths, the most undesirable problem I've faced throughout is when it's time to begin removing the smallest of bones before they break down so much they negatively'change' the taste of the soup that's already been cooking for hours. Before finding this Kaycrown Skimmer, I'd wind up constantly inserting either smaller slotted spoons & strainers, trying to find those little bones before they completely dissolved, or, sometimes even needing to strain everything into another soup pot so I can then pick through the bones, cartilage & skin that would still need hours of simmering —possibly the worst necessary cooking chore on God's Green Earth for perhaps the most satisfying outcome at its end. Ooaf. Well, that is, UNTIL THIS SKIMMER! Oh, my! Again, last week, I spent 16 hours turning a turkey carcass into broth in an 8 Quart pot. About 6 hours in I realized that its taste was becoming less rich ...so I reached for my Kaycrown Skimmer. It had been a few months since first using it, so I totally forgot how perfect its function truly is ...and how just how SIMPLE it made this tedious process. No sooner did I dip it in to begin removing smaller bones, as I lifted it up I suddenly remembered how much of a breeze this would be. Wow. After only three scoopings, only larger bones remained. After 12 hours, I now used the skimmer to remove all solid material into a large pan (when I then inspect for any remaining cartilage & skin to retain before begining to reduce the liquid to make the final broth I'll use for canning). This spoon works so well, when I used it to 'pre-strain' the broth before continuing, the mesh strainer I used next had nothing but a small amount of soft little bits in it to toss. This skimmer turned a CHORE into pleasant, thankful experience. The Kaycrown Skimmer is very well constructed, and handles large heavy loads of food without any structural strain or 'give'. It cleans in a breeze, and while it IS large, I simply added a screw to the inside one of my range-cabinet doors to store it & keep it handy. So handy, in fact, that I also use it to strain pasta & veggies to add into other dishes I'm preparing, or, straight into serving bowls. Bottom line: this skimmer is WELL worth the price I paid for it. In fact, I really wish I had come across it years ago! I totally recommend it ❤️

Really good quality. I sent mine back as its “wider” than I expected and so it didnt work for my specific pot. Other than that, recommend.

Love it! Scoop into the pot when the pasta is done and put on plates. I eyeball serving amounts. The tool saves placing a strainer in the sink and more dishes to wash. It is steady in my hand and I am over 80. I wash it in the dishwasher. It does not rust as it is stainless.

Really well made. This is perfect for pasta or draining potatoes before pulling them out of a pot. I recommend it. The size is great.

Well made with smooth edges. Washed up in the dishwasher perfectly with no signs of rust. Quite large and holds a lot of food, making stir frying a breeze. Very happy with this purchase.
