This plate is just too small for someone who eats a man-sized portion. The black rubber non-slip backing came off in the dishwasher, as well. It would also be helpful if the scoop ran around the whole plate. I decided to try and use a frisbee as his "plate" and LOVED the results. The frisbee is 2 inches larger and has a moderate scoop running around the whole rim. ### ⭐ MY ADVICE.... It slid very easily on all normal surfaces anyone would be putting a plate. even more disturbing, the extended up or "scooper" side of the plate had a "seam" on the outside where it was joined to the regular plate. That seam was not smooth. In fact I would say it could cut the hands of my 93 year old Father. I think at the cost of $8.00, I sent it back several times and 2 other plates without rubber bottoms. Which is not helping a one handed handicapped person. The reason I bought the plates, not to slide. Each replacement came back the same. A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.
