Do these give a warm light or are they quite white /cold?

The white light is cold .. like a hospital lighting … great in a kitchen .. but I have the warm everywhere else .. hope this helps

How are these G rated but use low energy?

this is 2021 New UK/EU Energy Label" (the old A++ rating system had been scrapped). And please be noted that most of LED bulbs sold by Chinese sellers are exaggerated with higher brightness (lumen)

I have a dimmer switch for the halogens . Will these work with that dimmer switch ?

NO. Halogen bulbs and LED bulbs have technology difference. If you want to use dimmable LED bulbs, you need to change your original dimmer to LED one. Halogen dimmer will lead to the quick death of LED bulbs.

Can I use these for a non-dimmable connection? I have regular lights and switchboard which I not dimmable yet.

Yes these dimmable lamps will switch on full using an on/off switch. Just ensure that a dimmer switch designed specifically for LED's is used when you wish to dim them.
