Hockey gear is notoriously stinky! Like The Stinkiest. This is our second case of Vapor Fresh from this seller, which keeps both my hockey gear and, more impressively, our teenage boy’s hockey gear smelling acceptable. (Like yes, if I directly sniff his well-worn gloves [like worn for a full year of 5x/week hockey] close up—not a great smell—but from a normal distance, e.g. in the car after the rink—no noticeable smell.) GREATLY reduces the need for cumbersome machine washing!Further, I’m pretty smell averse, particular for any artificial “fresh” scents. This product was a win for us because it smells natural going on (actually smells great, imo—tea tree, lavender, etc.) and doesn’t leave a perfumy after scent like most laundry detergents. (And The seller “Raw Athletics” is top notch too.) I wish it came in a gallon jug!

Holy cow… this stuff works. My kids hands were smelling like death after coming out of hockey gloves until we got this stuff. Sprayed after wearing, then set in from of the fan to dry, today after taking the gloves off, there was no odor on the hands or the gloves.

Used this on my boxing gloves and gym shoes and it definitely helped cut down on the odor. It is easy to apply, just spray and let it dry. After a few uses, the smell in my gloves was much more manageable.The spray has a strong scent at first. It fades as it dries but might be a bit much for some people right after spraying. No issues with irritation or damage to the gear though, and it is nice knowing it is made with natural ingredients.Good option if you need something simple to freshen up gym equipment and shoes.

I use this product for my boxing/kickboxing gear and it works well to get rid of any immediate smells from my gloves. However, if I’m constantly training it’s hard for the spray to keep up with the build up of sweat that’s not given enough time to dry. If I’m reducing how much I’m training and spraying my gloves and allowing it to air out and spraying again it helps neutralize the odor. Great product overall.

Works great on focus mitts and sneakers. The smell is pretty strong. It just doesn't seem effective for boxing gloves because of the curve inside where the spray won't reach. For boxing gloves, you're better off using one of those boxing glove deodorizers which you can stick all the way inside the glove.

1000000x/10Smells like vicks, I swear by this stuff. I recommend this stuff to every hockey parent/player I know. I spray our stuff after each use & let it air dry and it literally has no smell afterward. Now granted my kids are 7 &9 however I've smelt some pretty stinky kid bags in the locker rooms.....

It’s pretty easy/straightforward to use, and I love the lemon smell. But if you’re not a fan of the smell, it does go away and smell less strong as it dries. I use them for my ice skates and I haven’t had any issues so far.

My son is a goalie and it is tough to keep his gear fresh. I found this a while back and have been using it religiously. I have tried other products, but I have found this one works best for us. It had a great light scent and keeps odors down.
