I got this because I prefer the Ubiquinol form of coq-10 as it is way more bioavailable (actually gets used by your body). And the main reasons I take this is for my heart health, the energy it creates and the skin benefits it provides.With the heart scientist are not really clear why it helps it so much. They just know it does. They speculate it might be because it (may) prevent clotting, its antioxidant properties and some connection with the energy it provides.Same thing with skin . We don't really know why but many studies say it does help with healthier skin. Once again they think it might be the antioxidant activity ( killing bad things). They think it may tighten skin and help skin retain moisture. With my personal experience I have found my skin looks much better with coq-10.Now for the energy part. This part we do know why and actually our bodies do make some coq-10 but less and less as we age. We know our bodies use coq-10 in the mitochondria ( a tiny thing called an organelle in your cells where energy is made). We know in the mitochondria coq-10 helps produce Adenosine Triphosphate ( ATP) which preforms a chemical interaction that creates energy. Now here is why I like this energy thing specifically. Increased ATP burns calories and fat. And low ATP less calories burned and more fat stored. So what this does for me is help me get to/maintain my weight goal.If you wonder what this energy boost feels like I couldn't tell you because I don't notice it. And that's probably because I take many other supplements for energy already like NMN, B-12, and Berberine. But I have heard from many who say they definitely notice. I suspect they had low levels of coq-10. This is great to take if you are on statins as they are known to lower your coq-10 and this can/may help raise it (coq-10) back up to a good level.I think this is a good brand as far the dosage goes (200mgs) is in the middle IMO. I normally take (with food as this is fat soluble) about 400 to 500 mgs. So I would need two of these soft gels. I am not sure why the price of these ( at the time of this review) are higher than some other brands. I personally could not see an added benefit to this coq-10 to support the price. It would appear some in the health field recommend this brand for optimal health during and after pregnancy and maybe that's the reason ? A really good reason if a Dr. did indeed recommend it . I personally had no sides with these and they were easy to take. Other than the price this looks like a good product !Hope this was helpful.

Loved how quickly I received this product. I’ve been following this company for some time and used their prenatals which I also HIGHLY recommend. I am a nurse and truly believe they pack their products with the exact ingredients we need to be healthier. CoQ10 is a nutrient that acts as an antioxidant which protects cells from damage and plays an important role in metabolism. This supplement in particular has helped tremendously with supporting my metabolism post baby and for my husband as well post age 33. A real added benefit is it is excellent for preconception when we’re ready for baby #2. Overall 10/10 recommend this supplement and this company as the products I’ve tried so far have all been great and easy on the stomach and swallowing!
