Trying to find tangerine peel was a challenge and I selected this product to make Tangerine Beef. There is a lot of product here for the price. It is good quality and offered a great subtle taste to the dish I prepared.

Making tea out of tangerine peel is very good for the body. It does, however, taste just short of awful. It is in the line of Chinese medicine - it smells bad and tastes worse. One trick I learned from my doctor was that, when you make the cup of tea with it, let it cool down and drink it with a straw. In general, opening the container smells great and fresh.

Some prices look kind of moldy. I don’t know if they’re supposed to be dark in color in some spots or not though. Overall, pleasant bitter citrus tea for me! Helps to activate bile to help digest fatty foods. I’ve added this into my digestive care routine as I don’t have a gallbladder so when I have something fatty (steak, olive oil, avocados- yes, even healthy fats), I either sip this tea during my meal, or add a bit of honey for after my meal. Keep in mind, if you have a sensitive gut (especially stomach), the citrus has the potential to further irritate it. When I’m having a flare up (IBS & sucrase-isomaltase deficiency) I don’t drink this. When making a tea, I’d say 5 - 6 pieces are fine, otherwise it’s get too bitter to enjoy.

It was used and unsealed. Very bad store

I have been trying to make a reliable orange sauce for my Chinese cooking for the past few years. Unfortunately, I cannot get the flavor I needed. That was until I stumbled on the fact that real Chinese orange sauce actually uses tangerine rind. I bought these and "bang", my sauce is exactly what I wanted. Seems a bit pricey, but it only takes a small amount of rind to flavor my sauce, so in the long run this is cost effective. The quality and flavor of the rinds is very good.
