AG06MK2 Black 6-Channel Live Streaming Loopback Mixer/USB Interface with Steinberg Software Suite

I bought this strictly for live streaming on TikTok and Smule. It works perfect for monitoring, adjusting levels and multi person streaming (eliminating echo from guests). It also eliminates TikTok “ducking” (where TikTok quiets background music to boost the microphone). It is sturdy, compact and I recommend it and would buy it again. Tried to make a video but there’s no sound so what’s the point?

This mixing board is a total game changer for my podcast. The gain and limit settings have allowed me to cut off low volume sounds, such as my breathing sound, and it also eliminated clipping of loud sounds. The sound from the inputs mixes flawlessly. It's an easy plug-and-play solution for getting good quality sound into Audacity, or any other computer recorder.

Works great overall, but sometimes after my PC goes to sleep, it stops responding and I have to reconnect the power.

I can run this from a trrs into an OTG adapter into android for open camera app and film and record with great sound I can figure out 3 different ways to do this . I could do it with my tascam Dr40x too but this is easier and sounds better . this board blows away the old school boards and leaves the other cheap pod cast mixers in the dust worth every penny

I play keys in a classic rock band and have been using a small submixer to sum the output of 2 keyboards. I have started using iOS virtual instruments and needed a USB audio interface, but didn't want another piece of equipment on stage. This mixer fits my needs beautifully. I use the internal sounds of my top keyboard sometimes and also use it as a MIDI controller for the virtual instruments. The controls of the AG06 Mk II make it easy to switch between the keyboard's native sounds and iOS virtual instruments using the internal interface. The only additional feature I wish it had would be a separate volume control for the main outputs, which go to the front of house PA. However, it really is not a limitation because our sound guy can control my volume on the main board. The mixer does have a volume pot for the monitor outputs, which I connect to a small powered speaker as a personal monitor. The output is pristine, much better than the previous audio interface I had been using, which introduced hiss and buzz. The AG06 made my virtual piano apps sound much more realistic. I can power it using a 10,000 mAh power bank via a USB C hub connected to my iPad Pro, eliminating the need for a wall wart. I don't use the microphone inputs, but it's nice to know they are there if i need them. If you are a live player with similar needs, buy this mixer!

Works great for Smule karaoke app. Beginning sound guy took me about 15 minutes to get the wiring and sound levels dialed in for recording, but the results are great compared to an irig pre 2 or other microphones that don’t work well with iPhone 16. Analog mics are processed with noise reduction on newer iPhones so they can’t be used. The direct monitoring allows me to combine a direct monitor blended with the incoming music. The mixer (no loopback) only gives Smule just the vocals so it doesn’t get confused. Only issue so far is the monitor headphone amp isn’t good enough for me as I have 30db conductive hearing loss. With a cheap analog amp it sounds great for me.

The device itself appears solid and reasonably well-designed.However, the package did not include a necessary data cable. Without this essential component, the product cannot be properly used or tested. This is not a minor inconvenience — it completely prevents the product from functioning as intended.As a result, the overall experience is extremely frustrating and disappointing. At this level, it is difficult to justify recommending this product.

I think this thing is awesome. I was a bit worried about some of the reviews here but since it was on sale I picked it up and I'm very glad I did. I'm just using it for a home karaoke setup but it's doing everything we need. The compressor, EQ, and reverb customizations are nice (ended up just shutting off EQ which is tough to dial in for various karaoke guests). In general it just seems versatile. You can run it USB or without and there's no noticeable latency when running in USB mode. The audio quality is good. It's extremely transparent which is what I personally want in an interface. If you're looking for some kind of amp colour this won't give you it (and IMO it shouldn't). I also saw some comments on the build quality and it seems good to me? I used to DJ and yes it's not up to the tank like quality of all metal DJ mixers which are 10x the price of this - but it's frankly more than fine for something that's going to sit on a desk or table most of it's life and once it's setup you probably aren't really going to mess with it much. The knobs/pots all seem very solid and tight, the body itself is a mix of metal and plastic, the inputs are all mounted solidly. I'm not sure what there is to complain about in terms of build quality. I have a 12 year old Steinberg CL1 audio interface (still going) and the AG06 feels better built than it so this isn't like they've cut corners or something in recent years. Long and short of it, very good for what it's intended to do. If you're looking for something to just use at home this is a fantastic choice IMO. It's not intended for stage use. I'd definitely put it in the "prosumer" level where it's punching way above it's weight but doesn't quite reach the demands of actual professional PA equipment - and is priced very fairly. One final note, i think the reverb effect (popular for karaoke) is between decent - good. It more than adequate for vocals but if you were using a guitar recording you'd probably want to stick with a pedal or higher end effect processor of some kind.
